Far and Away

So true @Shaz51 re covid. It was hard missing both a family wedding and a family funeral (father in law) in WA last year.

Same here Shaz, we need some rain too. May have to water some garden plants as well. But todays hot day may bring some rain, I hope.

@Appleblossom Arctic winds sounds cold. When I spoke to my Dad today he complained about how cold it was there too. He is in the NSW Southern Tablelands, and it was about 12C today. They get the wind off the snowy mountains when it blows. So wind chill means it feels even colder.

I have hit a real energy low @Shaz51 ..... I have had an afternoon sleep but I am struggling to get up and go again. I might just stay in bed and ask D2 to make some toast for our dinner.

I am still feeling tired and deflated and a bit headaching , so hope it is just the negative talk from my SIL and not coming down with something xxx

I hope so too for you @Shaz51, and I hope I am not coming down with anything either ..... it's probably that I have been burning the candle at both ends and need more rest.

Plans changed this morning @Faith-and-Hope My sister decided not to visit Mum even though she drove to the hospital. Her partner has been in Queensland and with the latest covid advice she encouraged him to get tested so she can hopefully visit tomorrow. She did not want to take any chances so I went in instead. I cleaned the garage and gave Toby a bath when I got home - missed most of the football but what I saw they were having a really bad day so not really worth watching anyway. Have to get some dinner even though I don't feel like eating - will cook enough for tomorrow night also so I can go straight to the hospital after work. I am tired and feeling really flat tonight (it is all getting to me this afternoon ) so planning on an early night snuggled up with my fur babies.

I see thatyou are struggling a bit this afternoon too Hon - it is a lot you are dealing with - and you have been pushing yourself - so I hope you can get an early night too and recover a little.
