I have my little girl home. She is curled up on her chair and is comfortable for now. We have pain relief and meds to help with her appetite and need to continue with her usual meds. She has drank and been to the toilet so both of those things are good. The wonderful nurse at the clinic has asked me to get them to call her (if she is not on) when the time comes to say goodbye so she can be there with us - and of course her normal vet will be too. Everyone at school has been wonderful too - they know how much it is hurting for me and doing what they can to support us through this. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people caring for Cat (and me) ...and whilst it does not take away this pain, it does make it a little easier knowing I am not alone. Exhausted, feel very sick and very much lost ...but Cat is where she needs to be and I am going to cherish every single minute.
