Oh @Zoe7 .... I don't know what to say ..... that is very humbling ..... 💐🌷💕
I grew up, albeit with a lot of change and difficulties along the way, with twovery loving and caring, community-minded parents. You already know I lost my mother rather young - I was 37 - and I have a brother and a sister, both with "issues" ..... my brother suffered from a terrible burns accident as a toddler, but he is also what is known as a "super-bright" (intellectually gifted with reduced social awareness) ..... and my sister suffered head injury through illness as an infant, making her intellectually and socially delayed, with (it would seem) a personality disorder that makes her emotionally aggressive.
We moved around a lot with my father's work .... and maybe I had to stand up fir my siblings as I went, although I wasn't the eldest ..... I don't know .... but whatever it was, I knew a lot of kindness, patience, was taught perseverance and a love for others .... a belief in the power of goodness, and faith.
Hahaha ... that's making me sound like a fairy .... like I grew up at the bottom of a garden somewhere .... but it has led me here to you, and the others here on the forums (hi @Former-Member .... sorry there was a missed tag) with all the bittersweet joy of learning how powerfully life with mi issues can affect lives, for the strength of goodness that can come from that if we invest in compassion and empathy.
I warms my heart to hear that meeting you has provided you with a boost in courage and strength .... that is the best birthday gift anyone has ever given me ..... 💚🌷💕💐🌿💜❣️🐬
@Former-Member .... I was late too my friend .... western time landed the party in the middle of my irl lunch-time, with 4 of my five kids here, and that's usually a three-ringed circus, especially with WH's unpredictability .... but sharing the birthday week with @Shaz51 meant that at least one of us was present till I caught up belatedly.
There are another couple of parties coming up .... so I will make sure you are notified ..... ❣️
