Re: Far and Away

Evening @Faith-and-Hope

I knew you have been busy at home, Easter and travelling interstate (IRL). I have been wanting to catch up with you and I knew you would get back to me when you had some free time to post.

I've been out of hospital almost three weeks and the time seems to be going quite quickly atm, I was thrown a bit with Easter so close to when I was discharged and it was hard with all the public holidays and getting back into some type routine.

I've not been on the forum has much since I return from being down south in hospital. I think I have tried to limit my time just so that I could engage more with my discharge plan and I didn't want to see my anxiety spike with me spending excess time on the internet. I do get concern when people leave the forum but I can see she is back on the forum and I am glad to see her back.

It was a experience for me and I am slowly making more progress and changes since returning home. Its been a bit slow initially but I am feeling more confident and connecting more to me. I am trying to keep the routine & structure from hospital going, I think that is going to help me the most and developing more skills along the way- that is my hope. I think it will be another four weeks until I am down south again and I think I will be there for about 6 days.

It is great to hear from you F&H. I hope you had a brillant day!!

Hi @oceangirl ... 😊💕

I am back, but feeling a bit wonky this morning .... jet-lagged symptoms when I usually wouldn't have them for a relatively short trip, but maybe that's just it .... bit run down on energy, and turning back the clock a couple of hours hasn't helped.

Gonna walk for my coffee and see if I feel up to walking further after that.

Yes, I can understand how Easter would have thrown you a bit with the lack of structure holiday days bring, and now with ANZAC Day following on so closely, I keep thinking today is Monday ... lol ....

So glad the rest is settling into place for you. And yes, the forums have been a bit messy with discontent and grumbling so for a while .... but the Soave here is big enough for everybody ..... and like a schoolyard, if those who don't particularly want to associate with each other can manage to descretelythis stay out of each other's way, I think it will all settle back down again sooner rather than later, and hopefully without anyone else feeling a need to leave .... even if they do come back under a new name and avatar .... although in saying that, sometimes it is a sensible thing to do ... and then still side-step those you are less comfortable with.

Well ... I had better get my butt moving before I find myself still sitting here in the middle of the day ....

I will be on the move, but will check in periodically. What do you have planned for the day ? Are you swimming, walking, gymming ?

💗💕

Hi @Faith-and-Hope

Good to hear you have arrived home safely, and I hope you are not coming down with something. I mite try to get up each morning for a walk and coffee that would be good to put into my routine. I've had a farly quiet day, although I had to go see my Doctor and I will be seeing her again tomorrow. I have a few tests I need to have (investigations and routine tests)- a sleep study, blood test and bone scan.

Its a bit unsettling when people don't get along but you would hope everyone is mature enough just to be nice to each other. But you are right, that people here can chose, who they want to interact with, just like the school yard. I have never really understood the school yard mentality or more so why people are like this. I believe you can learn about yourself when someone rubs you the wrong way because its generally more about you then the other person, I try(like) to show others compassion and kindness. I am starting to realize not everyone is like me or has the heart that I have.

I have my mum visiting for the weekend and we are heading to Dreamworld after my Doctors visit tomorrow. I will hopefully checkin tomorrow morning sometime. Hope you have a great day tomorrow..

Did you see any dolphins today @Faith-and-Hope ?

Re: Far and Away

No dolphins today @oceangirl .... I took a short walk this morning. I did a lot of walking over east, and I have arrived back here a bit pooped ..... still walking, but going easy on myself until my energy levels recover.

How are you going today ?
