My goal is to get well enough to travel again. I was born to travel, but PTSD and the rest has stopped me from doing so.

I lived in Scandinavia when young. Went to Canada, Finland, Sweden and Norway in my 30's and a cruise to the Pacific Islands. Would love to go back to Scandinavia again and have US in mind and New Zealand and everywhere, hehe!. It's a dream and I am on my healing journey to make it possible. xoxo

A step at a time, I have to keep reminding myself. I get impatient and frustrated that it is taking so long to get well.

I've heard they saying, "be happy where you are at, on the way to where you are going". So true, but not so easy to be happy, not feeling well. Onwards and upwards we will go.

Anyhow ready cooked chicken salad sounds quite yum and yes definitely more healthy 🙂

I know what you mean about PTSD interrupting travel... I have the same problem exactly and I read your words thinking ok I could be the one saying this. It's annoying! Well I am going to get through it and back to that.. I'm determined. I have two places on my list I am determined to get to now that I am seeing a light and the end of what I thought was this never ending tunnel.

It's talking about outgrowing prejudice, bigotry etc by seeing more of the world .... understanding different cultures have different ideals and boundaries, and learning tolerance

We were away for a long period of time in Europe (hubby is from there) across Christmas and New Year ..... and as we had a lot planned .... with hubby on hyper-speed.... I decided to share my time with y'all instead of being absent from the forums for that length of time, which was unimaginable in any case ..... the forums have been one of my lifelines since they were suggested to me last year.

We went to a lot of places and saw amazing things, so if you have time and interest, go for a browse ....
