Versions three and four have got differences in the stepping stones themselves .... the first has bock colour painted into the stones, the second has light and shadow, more work in the dpcolours on the water, and in the rubble that is around the base of the stones .....

It's painted on an A2 sheet of watercolour paper, so it's reasonably large (poster size) which makes it easier to see those differences.

In the latest one I have started working on the background shrubbery.

Well, I mis-heard the "double-depression", but doc thinks I am very depressed.

Fellow today......I think I'm going to have a good run with him. He can't see that I need meds, but he is very willing to work with me to sort some issues from childhood (my counsellor doesn't feel qualified to do that).

So....I am feeling very hopeful, at the moment 😉
