Just checking in.

Just checking in.

I thought I'd start a discussion where we can check in with members and use this space to keep in contact. It's a space to be able to say how you really feel and it's a space for the good, the bad and the ugly moments in our lives.

Hope your trip isn't too long a drive, any more than 3 hours I find is ample!

@Kurra So waiting to hear how you are.

Its funny I had a chat today irl with neighbour .. who proudly declared at 62 she is officially retired .. and had last day at school yesterday .. we also discussed tactics to keep non-reactive in workplace by making simple strong and positive general statements to all & sundry .. even just a "GOOD MORNING" can help .. she did feel pushed out due to age .. but not her lack of health ... she is one DYNAMO.. exhausts me just talking to her .. but she means well... and that counts for a lot.

Re: Just checking in.

Hi @Appleblossom
Today......... has been challenging. Despite a number of unpleasant experiences I did manage to sail through the majority of my day all smiles and laughter. I did have a couple of woopsie fragile moments but they were very short lived.

I am exhausted. The day has taken considerable self control and I frequently remind myself that I can control how I react most of the time. Let's take a guess at 99%.

In some respects the situation is ongoing (through the union ) but otherwise it's all over red rover

I've got to go to bed. Luv n Hugzzz 💕 🎶
