I thought I'd start a discussion where we can check in with members and use this space to keep in contact. It's a space to be able to say how you really feel and it's a space for the good, the bad and the ugly moments in our lives.
I'm glad things are improving for you then @Teej .
Yes, my Mr 6 had his tonsils and adenoids out yesterday and he was doing really well so they sent him home today but about an hour later he went really pale and quiet. Called nurses at the hospital and they said to monitor him and if he develops a persistent fever then to take him back the. He still doesn't have a fever but I'm worried.

Yes @Former-Member one of mine had that operation. It’s pretty normal to be worried and watch them cautiously. It’s great he doesn’t have a fever. Keep an eye on him and hopefully he’ll pick up soon enough. From memory once they come home there is often a bit of a relapse. I think they lose that adrenaline they get from being in hospital and the reality sets in with a bit more discomfort once they are home. Fingers crossed he’ll be ok.
Be gentle on you. I know it’s always worrying when they come home from an operation when they are little.

Re: Just checking in.
I do the overthinking thing too @outlander . My therapist has helped me with the worry about finances one a bit. It took me a loooooong time to take on her advice though. When finances are tight it it still about living in the present, what happens in the future with money happens in the future for future you to deal with day by day. Having said that I still have the odd freak out about money. I’m not really making ends meet just now either but trying to go with it for now. You are resourceful. I hope it works out ok.

Re: Just checking in.
Thanks @Teej i have freak outs too about various things, sometimes dont even know what :face_with_rolling_eyes:😬 i unfortunatley have to look ahead which goes against my take it day by day thing. its frustrating but i have to as my op is later in the year so i need to try and get things organised. i thought i was going to have to go to the ed with chest pains, heart palpatations and anxiety from worrying and fear but thankfully its eased abit now.
