Hey @CheerBear . Good to 'see' you. Big venty posts always feel like it’s better out than in.
I honestly can’t imagine anyone juggling what you have going on without crashing. Part of me wishes siblings could step up to the plate a bit more too, although I know that’s easier said than done.
I get all that you are going through because ive felt that so much too. A loving family has never been enough for me, which is terrible. I have felt that guilt of why can’t that be enough LOTS. So many other people find that enough, why can’t it be enough for me, what is wrong with me has been my line of thought often. I need to feel a purpose beyond mum, daughter, sister too. The strange thing is that I think that my family want that for me too. I know my kids want me to have a life outside them. I love my kids to the moon and back but I don’t have those really strong maternal instincts. I have a feeling that your kids will want that for you too.
I wish i had had a magic wand for this one. I know you are caught in a time warp at the moment which is so frustrating, exhausting, and guilt fueled but I believe you’ll get through this still (possibly with much crashing and bashing 😘). I believe you’ll do it looking back and knowing there was some strange semblance of balance because I’ve learned you are a pretty good juggler of all things messy and hard. And so what if you drop the balls from time to time, every good juggler does, it’s what makes you human.
Well thats my pep talk from someone who wishes they had more crash and bash about them, I see it as a struggle but more often a strength 🤗.
