Re: Just checking in.
Just checking in @Former-Member and hope you are well. It is quiet and peaceful here but with strong winds - tail of Cyclone D I suppose. You do much to help on this forum and more praise to you. About time for a good cup of tea and healthy sandwich. Take care and all well wishes to you and yours. Bimby2

Re: Just checking in.
Thank you @Bimby2. That's really lovely. And thank you for checking in. I'm assuming you've had a difficult time with the remnants of the cyclone. Hopefully it will pass soon and people can get back on with rebuilding. I have a friend who lives in Airlie beach and she was mostly lucky although had some structural damage. I hope you have some glorious weathe soon too.
I hope you enjoy your healthy sandwhich and cup of tea. You just reminded me to eat and take my meds. It seems like I need lots of reminding of this lately. Might be time to try and set reminders again.....or I can just keep being reminded on the forum which is working too. Have a lovely day. I hope you get to smile often. 💜🤗💐

Re: Just checking in.
It's the little things that keep us going . I'm still coughing, spluttering, and throwing up; that's the bad news. Couldn't be bothered making lunch. At abou 3.30 I felt hungry, but just the thought of eating made me feel sick. I scoured the fridge and freezer. Good advice to always have some pastry in the freezer; that and and apple and apple turnover for "lunch". Well, that was hours ago; when I close my eyes I can still taste them and I'm actually feeling better now. Hope it keeps up.

Re: Just checking in.
Enjoyed my cup of tea and tasty cheese sandwich and tonight cooked a cheese flavoured omeltte - all very healthy,I hope! The rain has gone but left houses inundated with water and mud - one's heart goes out to them. Hope they get much public assistance. You are a tireless worker for the forum @Former-Member and to be admired for same. Hope you are having a pleasant evening and that the week will be equally so. Take care and thank you for your well wishes. Cheers from Bimby2.

Re: Just checking in.
Hey @Former-Member and @Faith-and-Hope, I'm not doing too badly. I had a horrendous migraine yesterday and the day before that I seriously considered going to the hospital for, it was that bad. I've never been in so much pain before. It was a totally different experience. But I only get them 3-4 times a year, so I can't complain too much! I'm not having a tough time as such, I just got a bit pissed off at some of the interactions on the forum and I've been a bit introspective due to therapy. It's finally been explained to me why my memory is sometimes so bad - apparently I dissociate and I think that's what I do when I can't remember having conversations and seeing movies and that kind of a thing. I'm meeting with this therapist one last time to discuss my diagnosis/what's wrong with me. I know there's something more than the schizoaffective going on, but I don't know what. And people aren't being very forthcoming. I'm thinking of requesting all my medical records via freedom of information to find out what my psych and gp think. And my therapist said some things at the end of the last appointment that really resonated, but I'd never told him I felt that way, so I wonder how he knew? And of course he won't tell me via email, so I'm going to have to wait until Friday. My contract for work is up this week - I'm really sad to be leaving, but I'm so far behind with uni that I need the time to catch up. No idea what I'm going to do about money!!!! My Austudy still hasn't been reinstated (Grrrr!) But other than that good - I just wish I knew what was happening in this little head of mine...... 😢
