I am incredibly stressed right now. Not doing well. Don't know what to do.
I'm in an emotionally abusive relationship. This has given me/contributed towards C-PTSD. I've been seeing a therapist about this but it's opened a lot of wounds and been very tough. As part of my safety plan I've been calling Lifeline whenever I feel really, really down.
To make a long story short, yesterday I got a random phone call from the hospital's mental health team saying that Lifeline contacted the police, who contacted them saying that I had said something threatening towards my landlord in response to them raising the rent. The thing is I don't have a landlord as I own where I live, with a mortgage and have done for many years. More about this here https://saneforums.org/t5/Something-s-not-right/Help-I-got-a-call-from-the-hospital-saying-Lifeline-called-them/m-p/1323166
I've contacted Lifeline and the Acute care team trying to sort this out, but to say they've been unhelpful is an understatement. Both have been downright dismissive, with the Acute care team not wanting to give me any further information and Lifeline saying they cannot look up call logs in their system without me giving them the date and time of this call (which I cannot do since I did not make the call and the Acute care team refuse to give me any more information about it).
I feel so distraught. I feel very wronged and that no one wants to listen to me. This issue isn't a "he said/she said" thing, it literally doesn't make sense that I would say this.
The stress is immense. I have to go to work like normal, all the while thinking about this. I have to keep it from my partner or else she'll blow up. I'm scared, I can't eat and havent slept in close to 48 hours.
I just don't know how I can keep this up. I'm so drained and so disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any support out there - can't call LL, can't engage with the MH team, can't talk to friends about this, can't talk to my family. I'm so burnt out.
