not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @BlueBay

Whatever is causing your BP to fluctuate so much is quite possibly stress from what goes on in your life but still - it needs treatment

There are many different kinds of reasons for high BP and many kinds of medication - has your doctor mentioned putting you onto a different preparation -

And yes - I know - the side effects of some of these things are unpleasant but you need to find the right one for you and you will feel much better

I hope having an early night helped and that you feel better today

Hi @Owlunar @Shaz51 @Meowmy @Zoe7 @Razzle @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member and others 🙂

Well my headache is still here, didn't sleep well at all. I woke up a few times, my mind is racing with so many thoughts.

I can't seem to stop it. So now its day 4 of this headache. I don't like taking meds, i am drinking lots of water.

I am seeing my regular psychologist this afternoon, not sure what we'll talk about but just go with the flow.

I am home with my D and will try to do some more sewing.

it's raining now which is good for the garden, hopefully clear up later, wanted to go for a walk.

hope everyone has a nice day

Forgot to say @Owlunar just came back from my doctor, got the flu shot. and the nurse checked my BP. today it was 147/94 which was better than yesterday. going back friday morning to check it again.

I now can't wait to see my psychiatrist in a few weeks to talk about my email to him.

Hi @BlueBay

Yes - we have rain here today too and I forgot some washing I left on the line last night - how disappointing!

I'm glad your BP is a bit less - perhaps taking things quietly yesterday helped - with your headaches - have you had your eyes checked lately - having your eyes tested is Bulk Billed by Medicare and might be helpful - and of course - you might have already had that attended too

All the best with your psychologist today - you can talk about your email to your psyche - you did well with that - having an agendum when you visit is a good idea but I know - the conversation often goes elsewhere but talking about your email would be a real positive - that was one huge step forward and you can talk about building on that.

And then there's your psyche too - there is no need to feel intimidated by a person who seems to have authority - he is a person just like yourself with his own life and issues to deal with - it's empowering to learn to stand up for oneself - hey - I have to do this with the pain specialist in a couple of weeks - I am getting ready to do that - I did it the last time I saw her and I will do it again and I have my GP behind me - he is going to write me a letter to take with me telling her I have been trying to comply with her ideas but it hasn't worked very well -

We can learn to do this and you started this well last week - I am really pleased you did - it was such a hard thing for you to do but you did it - I am feeling really excited you did that with such a positive outcome

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Owlunar @Shaz51

My session went well. I told her about my anger towards my psychiatrist. She knows him as she used to wirk in his clinic. I mentioned that I was going to leave Sane snd thst I then emailed my psych.

Explained what I wrote in the email. We talked about me struggling with talking to professionals and how I feel scared to say anything.

She praised me fir standing my ground and emailing him. She said that was a first step for me.

She suggested when I see him in a few weeks to thank him fir replying to my email and fir bringing the appt earlier.

She said that even though he is a professional he is still a human with a family just like me.

I’m a bit nervous but ok about seeing him. She also mentioned that he is a very experienced psychiatrist and he would genuinely care for his patients even though he doesn’t show it at times.

My psychologist said that she has seen an improvement in me. Today was the first time that I didn’t cry

I left feeling ok. I now have a plan of how to talk to my psych.
