not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

HI @BlueBay

It's pretty nornal to feel flat after a big day entertaining and having your Mum and Dad on Christmas Day would take it out of you - that's understandable

I get it with the tourists - seeing I have been a tourist a lot in my lifetime - but I stick to the off-seasons - one reason - school holidays are just too busy and things seem to cost more -

You must feel invaded having them in your little town - through the time of year when you would like to enjoy the beach yourself there are people everywhere - you could pretend you are a tourist too - no one will be taking any notice of you I can assure you of that

But I have lived further south than I do know and early mornings around Port Phillip Bay are wonderful - going out early in the morning is really special - you are very likely to have the beach to yourself first thing

I used to go swimming with my son up where I live on hot summer mornings - it was something both of us enjoyed - wonderful time we had together

But tourists are intrusive - and they are just having their holiday - but it changes your routine - I understand

Re: not feeling good

Saw my dictor this morning. Blood pressure 195/110. Off to hospital. Get here snd im discharged because “there’s nothing wrong “. The dictir says blood pressure goes up and down.

Im annoyed. Feel really crap and lightheaded.

Sometimes I wonder about these young doctors.

My doctor wouldn’t have called an ambulance if he didn’t think it was serious.

hospitals want you out very quick.

Waiting fir my D to pick me up. I’m going to ring my doctor as soon as I’m out.

Re: not feeling good

That is ridiculous @BlueBay - if your bp is that high they should have at least monitored you for a time - I think calling your gp again is a good idea. Are you still on bp meds?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Zoe7 im at my doctors now. I am on meds fir blood pressure. But maybe they need to be changed. I’ll see what my doctor says.

Re: not feeling good

Ouch .. thats very high @BlueBay ! Like @Zoe7 I would have thought the hospital would have run some tests and monitored your BP for a while. As you said, clearly your GP was concerned enough to send you to the hospital. He knows you and your normal BP fluctuations far better than some fly by night hospital registrar. I too would suggest you let your GP know what happened. Meanwhile try to stay calm. Sorry this has happened. Hope your day improves. I too am just back from a GP apt. Needed to get my MHCP redone.

Re: not feeling good

Your meds maybe need to be adjusted or even changed @BlueBay because that is way too high and especially if you are already taking meds for it.

Glad you got to your GP @Former-Member and got your MHCP done.

Let us know @BlueBay what your doctors does.

Going to head off and have a rest - getting very tired here so need to lay down for a while. Will catch up with you both later

Re: not feeling good

That is way too high @BlueBay - and yes - follow this up with your clinic - if you are taking BP medication it needs to be taken seriously -

It seems to me that hospitals just want to get rid of patients asap - we are such a nuisance - I get that feeling sometimes and yes - BP does fluctuate but not that high

All the best with this and keep in touch with us - wow - you are not over-reacting -

It might be stress - my BP is stress related - and you had a big day on Christmas Day but still - whatever causes your BP to go up that high still means it needs treatment

Take things as easy as you can in the meantime

Thinking of you

Re: not feeling good

Just saw my dictir. He checked my BP it was even higher than this morning. He was angry with the local hospital to send me home so quickly.

He has written a letter for me to go to a private hospital. I’m in my way right now.

My doctor has written in the letter that he wants me to be admitted.

Re: not feeling good

I am really glad to hear that @BlueBay

Your doctor has followed that up well - I am sure you will be admitted to the private hospital - I am really glad you kept your private insurance

All the best there - we will be waiting to hear how things go - but in your own time - right
