not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

I’m not sure if I’ve told you but I think I’ve got shingles yet again. It’s the same spot like last time but no rash. Although just niw the area is itchy snd I can feel a spot. I hope not. I’ll hsve to csll my doctor tomorrow morning if there’s a rash.

I hope not too @BlueBay - terrible timing too Hon. Fingers crossed that there is no rash tomorrow and it clears over night for you.

I hope nit too @Zoe7

just thought niw that if it is my parents won’t come. I know because last time I had it she didn’t want me to go over. And I had to stsy away from Ayla as well. God I hope not otherwise it will be a very lonely Christmas Day. 😢

I’ll see tomorrow how things are.

Re: not feeling good

If your parents don't come then it is there loss @BlueBay but there is no point either way of stressing about that - you will have your daughter and Ayla and your boys there and that is enough. Look at it this way - if your parents do come then that is a bonus

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay If you THINK it’s shingles, don’t stuff about with it - you only have a small window to start treatment before it’s too late - I hated the antibiotics but it did stop the blisters and rash.

No one needs to avoid you because you’re not contagious. The only time it can be passed on is if you have the blisters and they are weeping.

I really hope you havent got them though.

Sorry your feeling so down at the moment. I wasn’t feeling real flash myself this afternoon, ended up with a head ache so went to bed for an hour or so and slept it off. Woke up to find out that a young man in town had ended his life. It’s devestating, he was such a lovely young man. He went to school around the same time my son that died did - they had been friends and he did speak of my son often. Apparently he had been bullied for years, so hard to believe, he was such a bubbly pleasant lad. I feel so sad for him, I just want to cry for him, what an absolute waste.

Have forgotten what shingles is all about @BlueBay ? Used to be bath of Condys Chrystals in old days

Re: not feeling good

If you get onto the anti-virals first thing @BlueBay - you will feel unwell for a few days but it will be all over by Christmas and no one need miss out on anything

As someone else said - if your mother comes it will be a bonus - she has her own ideas about live - I hear you - but as um - @Razzle said she can only catch it if there are running blisters

And - has Ayla had her chicken pox vaccination yet? - if she has she can't catch shingles;

Actually - have you had the shingles vaccination yet - you may not be old enough for the free shot yet - I have had it and I have had shingles once too - and I had anti-virals - it's - it's horrible having shingles and horrible having the anti-virals but better having the medication for a week than getting a long time with the pain that comes with shingles

You might know more about it than I do - that virus that causes chicken pox, shingles, herpes 1 & 2 is all the same virus - if it gets into a nerve it stays there so I get it that you can have attacks of it

Maybe the humidity from the rain we have had has had bad effect on you - I was watching the storms on RADAR most of the time and it was a lot worse down the peninsula than it was up here - I really hope that was the cause and you feel better tomorrow -

All the best with the doctor

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Razzle

I'm sorry you had a bad headache today - maybe it was the humidity - most of Eastern Australia got an extra heavy serve of rain over the weekend - and I woke up with a migraine that got worse as the day went on - my doctor gave me an injection for it late this afternoon and it has gone - I went to sleep for ages - such a relief when a bad headache goes away

I am sorry the young man in your town took his own life - this is one of the saddest things I can think off - esp young people - I often wonder if they really intend it to be permanent -

This young man had been bullied - I really cannot understand children being so cruel to get into bullying but they do. What do they expect to get out of it for themselves -

I hope you are okay - it's a really hard thing to deal with

I will be thinking of you

Hi @Owlunar@TAB@Razzle@Zoe7@Shaz51

@Faith-and-Hope

I am home now from work with a shocking headache. Sore back and stomach think it’s reflux. The door where I had shingles hurts but no blisters.

My doctor says I can have the shingles vaccine but It needs to be 12 months of no shingles to get the vaccine.

Just spoke to my doctor and he is writing out a script for sleeping meds. I need to get bsvk into a sleeping routine snd nit wake up 2-3 times a night. Will go soon and pick up script.

Im feeling depressed again

@Razzle I’m sorry to read about the young guy in your town. Thst is so terrible and so young.

Hope you’re ok ❤️
