not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Not a smell, but a sound. From my worst abuser, I can hear what he sounds like, and I can feel his breath on my neck - it happens out of nowhere.

You’re not alone, you’re not weird or strange, it’s just another way our weird and wonderful brain works ❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Hi guys .... just doing a fly-by in a coffee break before I am back to my presentation prep .....

Sorry to hear about your injury @Razzle. I don't think we have officially met even though we are both posting on this thread with @BlueBay .... so hi 🖐 and I hope the break heals quickly and well for you.

@BlueBay, flashbacks aren't always negative. I experience positive ones like that, that suddenly affect your senses .... I am glad there are others here who have supported you in understanding that they experience trauma-related ones too, and that it is normal within the context of a PTSD trauma response. Sending big hugs your way Hon. I am not keeping up with all posts at the mo, but tuning in here and there as I can and picking up the gist of what is going on. You're not far from my thoughts and concern for you. 🌷

Hey @Zoe7 .... 😘💕💓

Hey @Shaz51 .... 💜💐

Haven’t forgotten you @BlueBay. Unfortunately my hike in the mountains turned into a full on rescue by SES and ambulance - I have broken my ankle 😢😢

Oh Golly @Razzle

What rotten luck - I am glad you don't have to have surgery but it will not be good fun with a cast - I know the deal - crutches - everything is sooo hard with crutches

Maybe some clipart will help - I had knee surgery last year - crutches are necessary things but it makes getting around the house difficult - I hope your husband can at least be helpful with that

All the best - I really feel for you

Aw - I know it's not funny

Re: not feeling good

Thanks @Owlunar, yeah the crutches are a bit of a pain, and the plaster is so heavy. Had to take a pain killer when I got up this morning, no pain now but feeling pretty drowsy. Have started to see a completely different side to my husband, he’s very concerned and has been very helpful since. He will be relied on to do quite a bit until I can weight bare, so here’s hoping he continues to be this supportive.

Thanks for the pic 👍👍

Re: not feeling good

He's sympathetic and helpful - fantastic

Hi @Razzle - I am so glad to hear your husband is helping out - that is so good to hear - I guess he can see the cast which makes a hellova difference

Which is good today - people can't see our emotional discomfort - alas - but a cast and crutches are obvious

Actually - broken ankles hurt less than sprains - which is kind of unfair - they were going to send me home with a sprained ankle years ago - when I lived in an first floor flat - but I was awkward on crutches and they kept me there for a week - but that was back when they were more generous with hospital time - it seems you got to go straight home -

And the cast will be uncomfortable - but a fibreglass cast in a couple of weeks is something to look forward too

I am sorry that happened - it's no fun to be the star of the show with the SES and Paramedics but they are wonderfully kind

Hopefully you won't be in too much pain - I hope so

Hi @Owlunar@Razzle@Faith-and-Hope@Zoe7@Shaz51@s-jay@utopia@outlander and others

I’m going into hospital tomorrow. Got a phone call this afternoon. Need to be there by 10sm. Had a session with my psychologist today. Terrible. All I did was cry dissociate cry sgsin dnd then closed my eyes and tears and yelled at my brother who abused me. I was punching the pillow she gave me. I was yelling at snd then she wanted me to talk to my inner child telling her she’s ok now he csnt hurt me

when I opened my eyes I felt lime I had run a marathon. I was totally exhausted. She told me I’m doing well even though I don’t feel or see it.

Re: not feeling good

That's good news @BlueBay

I wish you the best recovery possible - take things easily while you can

It sounds to me as if you are having some therapy I had after my son died - it's sometimes called cathartic hypnosis - I did a lot of yelling and crying too and over time it worked

It was intensive and hard to tell if it was working at the time but I am sure it did
