not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

You don't need to stay away @BlueBay - that is what we are here for - to listen and chat with you when you are feeling like this. What else have you been doing to help with how you have been feeling - been doing any knitting?

@Zoe7@Faith-and-Hope

I have done nothing. Had no motivation or enjoyment in doing anything. Feel quite numb actually. No feeling for much. Csnt explain. All I’ve done is emotional eat snd now feel disgusted that I did that. Haven’t called my gp for two days which is amazing because normally I’d ring him daily. Should be happy and proud but I’m not.

I don’t know I’m really down. I’m sorry. You’re prob sick of listening to me.

Re: not feeling good

No BB not sick of listening to you - we are here to support you - especially when you are feeling this down. It does say something positive though that you haven't contacted your GP for 2 days - that means there are days that you have gotten by without that call and that is positive @BlueBay Here listening BB - whatever you are feeling - or not feeling - is ok because that is where you are at right now

How is dinner going @BlueBay?

Re: not feeling good

I’ve just finished dinner @Zoe7

I’m not sure I know what to say on here at the moment.

I feel so hurt and empty. I feel empty. I feel nothing. There is nothing in me. I’m nothing.

Re: not feeling good

That is okay @BlueBay Just keep chatting to me to distract you a bit. Tell me some of the places you have visited or gone on holidays too - do you have a favourite?

Re: not feeling good

Over the years @Zoe7 we've been to cairns, surfers paradise, Sunshine Coast and Merimbula

we've been to Tasmania twice. Once we hired a car in Hobart and drove along the east coast. It was beautiful. The other time we stayed in Hobart. I love the markets. This October hubby and I want to drive to Sunshine Coast snd stay for a week. And maybe my daughter her partner and Ayla will fly up snd stsy with us. But it all depends on money. We will try to book the accommodation now snd pay it off.

Have you travelled much ?

Re: not feeling good

Tassie is a beautiful place @BlueBay I am very lucky to live where I do

I have travelled to most states in Australia - haven't been to the Northern Territory or the top end of Queensland or WA but would love to do that one day. I have also travelled throughout Europe, the UK and Ireland - spent most of my time in Ireland and the UK and absolutely loved it.

Sounds like you have thought out your plans for a holiday well - booking now and paying it off a little at a time is a great idea.

@Zoe7

I would love to travel to itsly snd greece. Itsly to see family snd greece for the beautiful islands. My youngest son is in Santorini st the moment. He is having an amazing time. He’s been to London Ibiza Barcelona Rome Mykonos then after Greece he is going to Amsterdam then Belgium then meeting my other son to then travel around Italy.

We just can’t afford it. It’s so expensive to travel overseas.

Re: not feeling good

I haven't been to Ibizia or Santorini but I have been to the other places your son has been or is going to @BlueBay It is expensive - I came home with not a cent to my name but it was worth every cent I spent on the trip. That is actually when I decided to go back to Uni to do teaching as well - so in a way it changed the course of my life. I am not sure what I would be doing now if I hadn't done that - maybe still in welfare and maybe still in research but glad that I went down the path I did.
