not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Yeah but @Zoe7 ehen they tell me I am using the helpline too much and can only use it once a week for an hour. How does that make me feel - rejected abandoned and not happy. I was crying when they told me last night. I couldn’t process what I was reading. My mind is everywhere at the moment. It’s really upsetting.

Re: not feeling good

I understand that @BlueBay and get that that may be distressing for you but there needs to be boundaries too for everyone's wellbeing - and you still have us here to chat with and the crisis lines when you are in real distress - that hasn't changed.

Re: not feeling good

That is not the case @BlueBay - you have not been rejected or abandoned - it is simply setting a boundary for you so you can get the most out of your contact with them and that is important for everyone - and especially for you. You still have the forum and you still have the crisis lines and although it will mean you have less contact with them you have other outlets for support. I think this is going to be a good thing for you because we both know you can become too reliant on others when you are not feeling good and forget to look after yourself - it can heighten your self-destructuve behaviours - but you need to work out ways to help with your own self-care as well as us helping you Hon.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay, I can really hear how hurt you're feeling. It's important to give yourself permission to process some of the difficult emotions that are coming up for you. If you'd like some guidance on how to connect with others on the forums in a safe way to help with that you're going through then please email us team@saneforums.org. Take Care 🌻

Re: not feeling good

hey @BlueBay

i understand how the feelings of abandonment and rejection might be affecting you. as someone who also has BPD those abandonment feelings i find are really hard to cope with esp when we are met with constant rejection or in a bad place mentally before it happens.
i flip out quite alot until a few hrs sometimes over night and then my brains comes back down to 'normal' and i can start to think more clearly.
when i focus on the issue (rejection or abandonment) it makes me even more upset so i try to put it to the side until later in the day.
connecting with one of the managers here is a really good step forward, talk to them about the boundaries, work out other options and from there perhaps making a plan of what you can do to help yourself more might work for you?

i found out unexpectedly that i cant use KHL anymore than once a week either unless im really in crisis. i was turned away, its the same with headspace as well. so ive had to work out ways of coping outside the helplines and the forums as well.

im wondering if going to hospital is an option for you? some hospitals run different groups each day that you can attend whilst in there to help with emotions, and learning to cope etc. or even just a few nights rest in a supportive environement might be helpful for you esp when you cant keep yourself safe...

Re: not feeling good

There's a whole lot of frustration in your words @BlueBay and it's great that you're voicing some of those thoughts. Just as a reminder though, the forums aren't the right space to provide feedback about the help centre. It's great you have a session booked to help you process some of these emotions so perhaps that might be the best space to give feedback? Alternatively you can provide feedback about all of our services by emailing feedback@sane.org . Oh and here's a link to our feedback and complaints policy too. Look after yourself today @BlueBay 🐼

Re: not feeling good

And to make it really clear @BlueBay - we are not abandoning you here - we are here supporting you - we are here listening and sitting with you - even when you feel like the world is against you we continue to support you - sometimes it isn't immediate because we are either not on here or chatting to someone else as well and these are the times when you need to have a plan for your own self-care ...what can you do to help yourself when you are in distress? have you updated your coping box lately? Do you have a list placed somewhere that you can look at and use of self-care activities? Do you have a phrase or words you can say to yourself to help reduce your anxiety? Breathing exercises etc. etc.

Happy to help you work through some of these if it would help Hon
