not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Know what ya mean Bluebay. My son had x4 friends all through high school "Awsome Five" they called themselves. Computer nerds! Anyway, all x5 of them moved to Sydney Brisbane to do uni. 10yrs ago - they've stay friends to this day. Theres a saying in the bible

"Better a friend close by
than a brother far away"

The young drinker needs help but on the whole - youre such a good mum.

Hi @Zoe7 @utopia @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope and others reading this
I'm still in hospital but I've picked up a virus and have bronchitis with a sore rib and back each time I cough. On top of that I also had an asthma attack quite suddenly before the virus. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. No energy, coughing all the time. I've been sleeping a lot today. Last night I was awake most of the night coughing.
I hope I get better soon I hate been sick.
My mum decided to ring me today. After a week of no calls she called today. She is at her usual manipulative state where she is talking about my sister to me. And she twists stories around. Then she rings my sister and changes the same story Just as well my sister and I are on the same side.
I hope you guys are all doing ok.
I better go the nurses are getting my meds sorted and are giving me an antibiotic

Hi @BlueBay ..... 👋💕

I have had a very long day and might fall sleep sometime soon, but I wanted to stop in and say hello.

Thats no good about the bronchitis and asthma ..... although you are in the right place to be for good treatment of it.

I am glad you and your sister are on the same side ....

Thank you for letting us know how you’re getting on ....

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Is this the prearranged hospital stay?
I hope you get a lot out of this stay. More DBT classes - if they offer them there.
Either way, have a good rest and I hope your cough goes away soon

Re: not feeling good

Yes @utopia this is the planned admission. Unfortunately the last 2 days I've had to have bed rest.
Guys @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @Appleblossom @Shaz51 and others
I need your help and advice pls
My sister who I talk to and has supported me right through is having her 50th birthday party in two weeks time. She has invited my parents (who prob won't go) and her own children us and my children, so it's just family. She also invited my brother (remember he is one of the guys that abused me as a child).
I've had no contact with him and last saw him 4 yrs at a birthday party but we said hello and I pretty much kept to myself with my kids.
So what do I? I really want to go for my sister, I love her do much and don't want muss it. BUT I will see him. I'm crying as I'm typing because the memories are flashing.
I could and be strong and ignore him and play with Ayla and interact with my niece and nephew.
It's a hard decision.
What do you guys think?
BB

Re: not feeling good

Oh BB that is such a hard decision to make - I really feel for you @BlueBay I am confronted with this type of decision regularly at my work. It is certainly not ne that you can make lightly but this is what I think:

Your brother has had this power over you long enough - if you don't go for your sister (who you love very much) then you are in-fact also hurting yourself then your brother is hurting you yet again as a result. Don't let him continue to have this hold over you (yes easier said than done) and go for your sister and YOURSELF.

Whatever your decision though it has to be what you are comfortable with - weigh up the pros and cons and know that whatever decision you come to is one you can live with - that is the hardest part here BB - what YOU can live with.

That probably doesn't help you much but I am here if you want to talk more

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Understandably you are having flashbacks. That's hard news to take.
I think it depends how strong you feel at the time. Do you think you might be able to ignore him and stay away from him during the party?
Do your children, husband and sister know about the abuse? They could be used as a good support for you. Making sure your brother stays away from you on the night.
Talk to your psychologist or psychiatrist about going to the party. See what they suggest. They may have some coping techniques you could use.
