not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi everyone @Former-Member (are you still on)
I need advice from others I don't know what to do.
I am having thoughts in my head that is telling me to run away.
Saw new psych today. He told me he wants me to decide to either go bs k to my psych or stay with him. He says because I've seen my psych fir over 2 yrs it would be hard fir him to know me well. But he said he would still monitor my medication it's just that I would have to go back to see my reg psych.
I need help ? I don't know who to go with.
I was crying before because I can't decide. He told me to let him know on Monday. He also said my reg psych is ok with me seeing him.

I had dinner but now surrounded myself with the bed curtain. Don't want to mix with anyone. A medical gp saw me just now fir a physical. This is stsndrard practise. She noted my swollen gland so have to keep an eye on that. Need to do tests when I'm better mentally. I've got such s headache. Had an afternoon nap today.
I don't want to mix with anyone. 😥

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I can see you are struggling with making this decision about the psychs. My advice would be to do what you feel is best for you. In saying that I also remember how 'heard' you actually felt with this new psych and how much 'calmer' you seemed after seeing him. Going back over your appointments with the other psych you always seemed to be really struggling afterwards and had more questions, or frustrations, than answers. I think you should go with who you feel most 'comfortable' with, most listened to and actually heard, and who you feel can help you most moving forward. Don't stress over leaving one or the other - this decision is yours and your only consideration is what is best for you. I know who I would go with but that is entirely your decision my friend.

...and don't worry about not mixing with anyone at the moment - that will come when you are ready - tonight just be with yourself (and us here if you like), settle in, sleep - tomorrow is another day...

...and I'll still be sitting on your shoulder to keep you company when you need it...

Re: not feeling good

Thankyou @Zoe7
I have made a decision after talking to two staff members last night I will change psychs. I will tell my new psych on Monday. I need a change.
I'm sitting here alone having lunch on my own and it's no fun. Being alone sucks at times. Slept ok but was very tired this morning.
I have knitted the booties and now started a beanie.
My d is picking me up later to go bsby shopping prams and car seats. I'm feel so crap with "that time if the month".
I'm teary. I better go. I'll chat later.

Re: not feeling good

hello @BlueBay

I had the same reaction when I first entered hospital. I wanted to ring my husband up to come and pick me up and take me home.

Other patients also spoke about the same reaction.

It is a good thing on the first day to keep to yourself. You are being gentle with yourself.

You have been there before and probably find that you relate better to some of the nurses more than others. They each have their own styles and personalities.

Follow your intuition. Do what you want. Look after you.

I think it took me over a week and if I remember that has been the same on previous visits.

hello @BlueBay

sorry i missed this response when i answered before.

You have built a strong rappoire with Zoe and she can reassure you as she knows your whole journey this time around. Dont feel bad about that either. This is a good thing, you have reached out and received the help you needed. You have trust there.

I know that when we are at our lowest point we tend to worry about upsetting everyone else and are so very very sensitive.

You are doing just as you should

enjoy your time with your daughter, just remember short outings, you are the priority. it is so easy when our family/friends visit and take us out, for them to forget that we are actually still in hospital mode. We need to set the barometer as they can only be guided by us.

you are doing the right thing blue bay. we are all proud of you.

big decision about your psychiatrist. well done you made it. A whole new journey for recovery awaits you and you are the one who has put this in place.

stay in touch with those who you relate to the most, dont worry about everyone else, we understand.

xxxxxxbig hug

Re: not feeling good

Thankyou @Former-Member for your kind words and reassurance. It's only day 1 in hospital I know I'll be here for a little while.
Dr added a new med last night which is making me feel a bit drowsy. Think I'll have a nap before my D picks me up.
Chat agsin hope you're ok
Take care

Re: not feeling good

Hiya my beautiful little yellow flower friend @BlueBay

Those stupid meds and their side effects lol - on the positive side you did get some sleep and you have made a really big decision I am so proud of the way you are going already and it is only day 1! You seem calmer than you have done for a while - the pressure of the day-to-day 'stuff' being lifted from your shoulders as well as knowing that you are giving yourself the time needed to rest and recover is a massive step forward in your healing process. It doesn't matter how long you need to be in hospital - what matters is that you are there, you are being looked after, cared for and supported - the 'outside' world will still be there when you are ready and able to meet it again! YOU are what is important now - and I think you have made a very good decision with changing psychs - such a brave and positive thing for you to do - so so so proud of you BB xxxxx

Have a great time with your daughter today - find the light in being with her, sharing her joy and looking forward to when you will meet your grandchild for the first time - so much to look forward to and so much to be excited about

The future is yours to hold - to find peace and happiness within...

...still sitting on your shoulder...and smiling at this amazing, courageous and wonderful woman that I am feeling beneath my wings...

all my love and huge hugs...

Zoe

Re: not feeling good

Hey @Zoe7

I think you're right - the pressure is lifting slowly.

I am home at the moment, having dinner home then going back. I really want to go back now but i better stay and have dinner.

I am exhausted, went to look at prams and car seats, looked at furniture for our new home and I am buggered.

I think tomorrow I will take it easy and tonight when i get back i think i will hibernate in my bed and have an early night.

Better go, hubby is home now from the shops. chat again soon.

take care, i hope you are okay. xxxooo
