not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

There was a Mum on the radio reading a letter she wrote to her son (teenager) who has cancer. What she wrote got to me so much that I was thinking of my own parents.

This is so stupid, i just can't control my emotions. Think i should take a few sleeping meds tonight to knock me outt

So many life changes, i really now know that i don't like changes. Changes at work with a new shop.

I should be happy but for some reason i am not. Gosh i think i need a bottle of alcohol to wipe me out tonight 😞

AWWW hugs @BlueBay

Re: not feeling good

I agree with @Former-Member, @BlueBay. I would be a blubbering mess if I heard that.
But that was a mum talking about her child with cancer. Remove thoughts of your parents from your mind tonight.
Tell yourself they don't get to ruin tonight for you. You aren't going to let them into your thoughts. Tonight is for relaxing after a long busy week at work. Tonight is for you and hubby to sit on the couch. Waych some tv. Do some knitting. Have a cuppa. Relax and unwind.
You're not inviting your parents tonight.

Re: not feeling good

First class emotional distaster space @BlueBay

It would get to me too - and I would feel like sending a hashtag - could she not keep her emotions to a less public area? Ooooh - I feel a bit angry here

Please ditch that alcohol - this is not the time to have any - it will make things worse - stick with your sleeping medication or stay on line or something

And I am not against your having a drink - but not in these circumstances

Yes - I really get it - do I ever

Re: not feeling good

Very wise words:

@utopia leave your parents outside of your mind tonight, this is your night, not theirs.

@Owlunar alcohol can make you feel worse - it's a depressant, meaning it can make you feel even more low, particularly the next day.

@Shaz51 Hang with us, people who care about you.

Focus on you - not the stuff on the radio, not your parents, but on what you need most right now. Be your best friend, and care for you, as you would your best friend.

Re: not feeling good

It's too late @Owlunar i took my sleeping med before and have had a few drinks. Oh well. I don't want to knit tonight, think i may even just sit and watch tv. i am so tired.

don't worry i think bed is good now that the med is working

Re: not feeling good

Thanks for the info and imput @CherryBomb

Very well said - esp about thje alcohol - I rarely have a drink myself and the effects themselves did not occur to me while I was writing - I just know it doesn't help at all
