not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Be yourself with your customers, that is who they known and respect. Its your boss's loss.

Wish you had some privacy or some way of expressing yourself. Maybe something new and surprising will appear.

Gently, unless you really need to scream ... then back to gently with yourself.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

You are the same person today as you were before all this happened and you have been a valued employee and respected by your customers and you will be okay

This is a tough time to get through so be gentle with yourself - losing your job is an undermining event so work out your time - you can't see your future but it's still there

And it's really crappy that the new owners did this right before Christmas - who would want to work for them?

Give yourself a break and be kind to yourself

Hi everyone

@Owlunar @Maggie @Appleblossom @Molliex @MDT @Former-Member @Shaz51 and others following

thanks for sticking by me. I really need all your support.
hubby is ok with support but not as good as all of you ❤️

I didn't have a good night. I cried myself to sleep. I'm so emotional. I just can't stop crying.

I know the next few weeks are going to be tough. Actually I don't want to go back.
after yesterday's shock and feeling numb I'm niw angry and emotional. There's nothing I could do. It's out of my control. But it's still hard and pretty cruel to do a few days before Christmas.
is it ok to use your support here? I'm probably reading between the lines and thinking that I need to use my isn supports eg dictir psych. I think it's my BPD thinkibg. Sorry.
I'm a bit all over the place in my head. I'm so scared of applying for jobs interviews the whole thing. It's massive.
I really can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I keep getting washed up in this tidal wave. eith more psin and hurt.
I haven't told my mum yet. I'll tell her when I'm ready. I don't need her harping on.
You know I'm a bloody good worker. I always do what's needed.
it's shit. I can't think.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I echo what @Owlunar said. The timing of this plus other factors.

I have no doubt you are a bloody good worker. They may regret their decision. All you can do is slowly move ahead. I know it’s more than hard.

Emotions everywhere and feeling angry, are all understandable under the circumstances.

Can you go for a walk today? Not sure if it’s too hot for that where you are. But an iced coffee, if you like iced coffee. Just some time out for you.

Hearing you. 💙💙💙

Re: not feeling good

hey @BlueBay
I hate seeing you like this

You may need to utilise some of your supports? But up to you. I don't want to make suggestions as I don't know what works and what does not for you.

Perhaps you need to shut out all that stuff that is work related. God knows I need to. I'm now thinking of withdrawing my application for the position I interviewed for yesterday. It wasn't something that I'd be interested in doing and the work environment looked sad.

Anyway I digress this is your thread.

Hope you find some peace in your day

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

It's perfectly okay for you to lean on us for support - if it wasn't then this forum wouldn't be here and we are all here because the forum is here

And even so - the people who write on your thread care about you - if you are in doubt read back and see how loyal people are for you - some people write more than others and some use emojis a lot and other people post pictures - some people use clip art and other people used classical art and everyone who posts to you cares and uses whatever is comfortable for them to add and it is perfectly okay and I doubt anyone is likely to move off in a hurry right now

You are a hard worker and we know that - and while the spin-dryer of thoughts that is giving you a hard time right now don't think about looking for another job - you have a bit of time left yet and you need a bit of a break - when you have sorted yourself out it's early enough to start looking for something else and then I will e encouraging you not just to read what's available but getting out and making yourself available

It's not a reflection upon yourself that you lost your job - it can happen to anyone and I have lost my job more than once - the bad thing in the soup here is the company that chose to sack people right before Christmas and that stinks - but still - it's always hard to lose your job - a lot of your identity is tied up in your work but it will be okay - you will get through this

And I agree - don't tell your mother - you will be giving her the power to add to your troubles atm and you don't need her to do that - she will most likely give you a hard time and it's none of her business -

It's really hard right now but this time will pass -

I posted this photo in a social section of the forum without tagging anyone so I will send you one too - I used to do photographic art in a computer I had with an app that allowed me to change the colours etc - and my new phone has these apps so I can start a new collection - this one's called Painted Skies

Thinking of you

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay

Of course it is fine to have the support of the forum. Losing your job after so many years is a life changing event, and distressing on lots of levels, social, financial, personal self esteem etc. I am glad your hubby is being supportive.

I loved reading about your passion for your job. It made me think of my friendly faces at my chemist. The faces may change, but the personal touch matters, and make a difference in lots of ways, in lots of lives. Possibly the reason they fired you has nothing to do with your working ability, but just wanting younger and cheaper staff. It is happening in many sectors and not fair, but the way it is. If you can get another job easily that is good, but I would not stress about that yet. Taking each steps as well as you can in the next few weeks might be enough.

Take Care BB
