not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@BlueBay

Ive never had a huge weight issue so cant fully relate.

However i did notice living in colder climate i definitely ate more & tended to gain weight more easily.

Im in warm climate now & just dont feel hungry.

I agree with loads of walking tho.

Its great for the brain & its our bodys natural way to exercise.

The fresh air is great also.

I try & walk 5km about 3x a wk. Im lucky to live by the beach now so its an easy walk with a sea breeze.

Some people do the fasting method. U stop eating after about 7pm then restart about 11am. Gives your body a chance to burn off excess.

Water exercise is great too. Aqua classes r often only about 5-8 dollars & quite fun with right teacher.

I got an airfryer. Love it. Use it every night to cook meat & potatoes as it drains all fat off.

Ive found the older u get the less u really need to eat. Rather just need to make sure u still poo daily. Thats another thing to watch. My dr gave me a script for stuff & its really mild & cheap & works. Being regular prevents toxins building up.

Listen to your intuition. Take the info the info from anyone that just feels right for u. Its not about trusting all the time rather absorbing info that feels right for now.

We only learn gradually so loads of info we cant absorb.

Trust your yourself

Try not to get too obsessed with getting it all right

I think people trying to lose weight often try too hard.it must b a slow process.

Sadly we live in a society that splashes on the tv screen what we should look like.

Ive worked on tv set & they look for tiny bodies cause u look a size bigger on screen. Its sad cause most people r way bigger.

Given age too the middle age spread just happens after 50. Very few can avoid that.

Good on you for walking tho cause many dont even do that hey

I really think exploring different types of exercise is great also.

Theres aqua zumba gold

Weights in gym or like i do resistance bands

Step classes in a gym or at home to videos (ive done that)

Think its important to find exercise u enjoy.

Cant stress this enough.

All medical people tell u to walk & yes its great but theres so many other ways too.

Once u find a way u enjoy u r way more likely to stick with it meet others that like it & possibly not focus so much on how much u eat.

Shifting the focus sometimes helps.

When i gave up smoking yrs ago i didnt focus on cutting back rather everytime i felt like a cigarette i walked a few blocks.

Hope that makes sense. Gradually the cravings got less & i developed a pos thing i enjoyed.

Maybe everytime u feel like eating when u dont really need to drink a glass of water & walk around the block?? Maybe the cravings decrease.

I dont think its about dieting as such as ur more eating as a reaction to your emotions by the sounds of it.

Trust me im no expert cause ive never had a huge eating or weight issue. I have struggled with booze drugs & cigarettes tho a lot.

Once again take what info that clicks with u & throw the rest.

Im sure u will manage to get thru til u c dietician tho cause u want to get on top of this

Re: @Re: not feeling good

Thanks @Former-Member for your reply. My dietitian explained my eating issue as an alcoholic trying to stop drinking.

I fo really enjoy walking especially eith my music on. It’s my time to myself. It’s an escape from home for a while.

I can’t afford gym or classes.

I think fir the moment I’m going to concentrate on my walking.

I have big issues with my black and white thinking and brhsviour. Like the other day I ate some chips st the park with my granddaughter. But when I got home I had to go fir my 2nd walk to burn off the child. It’s not good. He doesn’t want me to go this because it sets me up fir disaster.

@BlueBay

Makes a lot of good sense to me.

Yeah i like walking too. Its my time by myself.

I enjoy the breeze, its free, i can watch others. Lots of reasons.

Sounds like ur on the right track.

Just that its possibly a slow process.

At least youre working with it tho as thats the most important thing

@BlueBay

After being bullied in gyms i wont sign up ever again.

Im going to teach out of a community centre & have discovered all these other activities going on in these halls ive even heard of before like folk dancing.

Still im not great being with people so ill b sticking to walking.

Cant say i relate to the eating issues.

Not now thank god.

Think bpd is enough to deal with without anything else.

Im still quite a hermit with this condition

Anyway hope u can dietician can gradually make small changes as you progress hey

Re: @Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Your dietician does sound kind and caring. ED are very hard to deal with, as there are so many underlying issues. Walking has so many positive benefits for mind and body, so keep it up while you can. You are going through really tough times, hang in there. 💜💜💜

Good on you for going for a walk @BlueBay . Sorry today is turning out to be a not so good one.

Do you have any distractions you could manage to do?

Ive been doing some crochet this morning, but have to try and tidy my mess.

A coolish morning here, looking like a pleasant day weather wise. 💕💕💕☕️☕️☕️
