@RiverSeal, yes I had a chat with Lifeline, I didn’t feel like calling up and listening to annoying hold music (I get sensory overload sometimes) so chose a chat. It was okay, I was scared it wasn’t going to help, but it helped a bit

I am addicted to sad music 😭, instead of studying, I am listening to depressing music. I am sitting in this storm wondering why I am not moving, I am not moving to seek shelter because I am doing the things that keep me stuck. The motivation to move is lost, if I am falling, why bother getting up? I will stop being creative_writer and become the problem. You would've thought I would learn from my mistakes, I just repeat them as stupid creative_writer always does in the end. This is probably just a useless self-deprecating post to make on the forums, I don't even know why I am posting this, what am I achieving by doing this? Maybe I should shut up

Hey @creative_writer ,
I remember being in a similar place to you in the past. I would listen to sad music because I think it was kind of soothing that someone else felt what I was feeling.
However, after a few songs, I realised it was making me feel worse, and hence I stopped.
After reading your post, I feel you are in a similar boat.
What do you think will help at this time?

@tyme, I think it’s about wanting to not feel alone in what you are feeling but it can get excessive, I think I probably should take a break for at least the rest of the day.
I think I really need to get into my assignment, just struggling with attention right now, not sure how to go about it, I need to get it done
