@Jynx, I normally don’t do much on the way back from school since I’m exhausted then. I do come into school early and start uni earlier, I like having writing up notes and reflection time before I start for the day. It takes an hour by public transport on the way back, but half the time by car in morning. School isn’t next door

Mm true @creative_writer having a long commute after a super long day can be very taxing. Are you otherwise finding the course and placement to be a fulfilling endeavour?

@Jynx, I am finding the coursework and placement fulfilling. I don’t actually go into uni for coursework, I’ve been doing online classes. Just too my into school four days a week to cut how much I travel each week. I also need time to do coursework.
I’m just focusing on uni and not working or doing any volunteer outside placement. I have a friend who is working plus doing placement, I couldn’t do that. I am lucky that I still live at home and get Centrelink payments

@creative_writer Yeah when I was studying it was a struggle to work at the same time. I had to reduce the courseload for a while, was all a bit too much. Everyone has different capacity to undertake this sorta stuff hey.

@Jynx, there are other students who are doing more units than I am, but I also had to reduce to 6 units over this year (2 are placement units). I'm still on the journey of recovery for my MH and physical health. Sometimes I wish I was like other people, but I was never like others. I had a difficult start to schooling too, I used to be selectively mute and I had a lot of anxiety, and still have a lot of anxiety. I guess high-functioning ASD is hard too, and it's often overlooked

I think there is something wrong with me, I’m not usually this agitated. Maybe a day of very little sleep has triggered this off along with stress. My thoughts are racing and I just want to be dead. Please no email, I’m safe right now, I’m going to take a shower. Mentally planning it isn’t a good sign
