Feel like my heart is racing and I can’t breath properly

trying to distract myself by just going all the normal things like cooking dinner and stuff

but, it’s just there, in the background and it’s uncomfortable

and honesrly

I EFFINGHATE IT lol and I’m not going to work tomorrow

trying @tyme
i remember being told I would never even finish school or get a job, well I did one of them things, and more.
i specifically remember getting in a bunch of trouble with the law and it really only took one persons decision to change the direction that my life could have gone I could have had to do time and The direction of my life could have been so different

Thank you for sharing this @ArraDreaming .

It's truly a wonder when you reflect on it. From being told you'd never make yourself anything, to where you are now is such an encouragement to witness. As you said, things could have turned out very differently.

It sounds like your family is something that keeps you too. You must mean the world to your boys.

How does your eldest react when you talk to him about the new bub coming along? Have you had a chance to 'prepare' him?

My eldest niece is usually pretty good, but today she just had enough of life as the eldest. She was miserable, and it was so hard to watch her just cry from the heart that her siblings always get in the way of things.

I specifically remember in year 4, had just been in trouble, was sitting the assistant pricipals office while they tried to sort me out and hearing them outside the door I remember there entire conversation saying all these horrible things about me and how they didnt think they could possibly pass me for the year because I was so “slow” amongst other things… they didn’t know I could hear. I was told I would never do anything that I’m doing now like a job, have a family, etc So I hold those things pretty close to my heart @tyme

umm yeah they are both pretty aware and excited, the little one less so he’s only 2 not really fully grasping it yet, except the oldest one will just pull something of no where like “oh not again, when the baby comes are you gonna make it be quiet” 😳

oh that’s so sad @tyme did you take her to Kmart

If only people realise the effect of what they say in the hear shot of young people @ArraDreaming .

I'm glad you proved them wrong! You can certainly come a long way.

I might take my niece to kmart next week instead.

@tyme the 5 yo has a lot of questions, how, why etc that’s the stage of his understanding we are at right now 🤪

i had really low attendance all through school busy at home with other kids @tyme academically also was pretty low (still am lol) and reading past reports about me is difficult but interesting still
I have a lot of documents that I requested through a FOI request a few years ago a lot of things from when I was in care etc

That will be a nice outing

@tyme
my year 9 report
“This student has not completed any assessments this semester I cannot mark him to a satisfactory level as he rides his bike often during this class time and distracts his peers”
🤣🤣
“Talks too much”
“Likes to ride his bike”
“Left my classroom abruptly”
“Has been absent 26 times so far this year”
😂😂

It sounds like your low attendance was of no fault of your own @ArraDreaming . As much as we cannot change the past we can make a difference to your future and the future of your family.

You have given your family a roof, home cooked food, stability. This is what counts.

Re: feel like I can’t get a full breath in

well this is true, and also I feel like I have grown to appreciate the value of education which i am now obviously sharing with my own family @tyme i didn’t see the importance in school and education until having kids

and yes he still has my hat but slowly it’s coming off which is a good thing @tyme

my family are my whole world + more
