Re: ☹️

Oh no! My nephew drew on the table... wrote his name... then said he didn't do it. I'm thinking, "why would you write your own name?"

The worst thing was when he once turn the oven on! My sister uses the over to store trays, pans etc that she isn't using... that's the prob. We smelt burning, then I realised the oven was on! He turned it on, but then blamed his 1.5 year old sister! KIDS>......

Re: ☹️

Yeah this was the 2 year old, We knew it was him but we still asked both the kids who did it and they both looked me at and then said Mum 😂
never mind that later on we caught the same offender dragging a texta along the wall (with the lid on) and laughing, as soon as we think we have confiscated all of the textas they still find them

Ooooh that’s pretty bad!! They’ll get into anything no matter how much supervision or things you do. I don’t think people realise that it can 5 seconds for them to destroy your whole lounge room

we have a fire in the lounge room that the kids aren’t allowed to touch, obviously, ever, and we put a fence thing around it when it’s on but when it wasn’t on once the 5yo put his little teddy bear in it
That was close to being a) an interesting fire and b) a possibly traumatising event for the kid

Lucky we noticed BEFORE we lit the fire because he left the door open
The spud @tyme

Re: ☹️

You are sooooo right! It takes 5 seconds for the house to turn upside down! @ArraDreaming .

I like everything to be in place. But sister doesn't. It does my head in when I go to her house, but I can't say anything. Today they have trashed both upstairs and downstairs. If I took a photo, you'd see that you can't see the floor.

There are blankets, kid's lounges, oodies, socks, clothes, shoes, toys EVERYWHERE!!!!!

Argh!!!

And lol, your baby spud dragging a texta across the wall...

Re: ☹️

Sounds like our house 😂 @tyme
you try to keep it tidy but then you turn it around and it’s messy again lol
There becomes a point you stop trying and just do it at the end of the day

also - this from 1 min is stuck in my head because my the kid has learnt how to rewind YouTube videos back to the start so he just keeps playing this over and over again

Re: ☹️

I agree it is sooo good but soooo bad @ArraDreaming .

I'm watching it for the 5th time now... I'm singing both this version and the nursery rhyme version...

Yikes... I won't be sleeping.

Come to think of it, did you know that singing such songs is a skill in therapy. As part of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, when a negative thought comes, you picture something like this youtube video and then start singing it? By doing this, you are making connections between a negative thought and a 'good' thought so that your brain learns to accept the 'negative'.

Try it. Each time today's events pop into your head, sing the Muffin Man on Drury Lane lol.

Re: ☹️

Picture this or don’t, because it could give you nightmares.
both children sitting near the fire tonight, a glow in their eyes from the fire them both rocking back and forth singing “do you know the muffin man the muffin man” while this video plays on repeat in the background
we were both sure they had been possessed

Hahaha what? Is that for real? Is it cause it’s like funny it’s like distracting? @tyme
