Still here??

I am amazed that I am still meeting people and posting here about all sorts of topics dear to my heart.

Its nearly 18 months, and I have been online most days, having only a few days off.

Thank you all you have responded to me or taught me about your lives and your loves and your coping methods.

Today I am tired in a lovely healthy out doorsy way.

I have finished the London based caring for psychosis course, but need to obssess less about mental health issues for a while.

I need to throw myself into my music and my new volunteering role at the zoo and try and keep level for my son.

Dont worry I will be back.

Talking about goals and values with MH worker but not being constrained to make them SMART goals.

Sometimes SMART goals are a great idea. Other times they are too artificial an approach and something more organic and values based is better.

@eth He is my brother who died just over a year ago. Yes a gas lighter and bully unabashedly, but little bro was 6 months old when he was farmed out to 2 alkies in foster care. I also walked with him through his 7 years cancer experience, though at a little distance as he was also globe trotting. Centrelink would not look at him. He did not like trump or Turnbull, we had a sit and chat about them on the FORGOTTEN AUSTRALIANS memorial in Southbank

He is gone now. Just giving him what for ... up there in the ether. Learning to find my big sister bossiness, rather than exhaustedness.

He knew the score in the end, and howled out his sorry to me on his death bed.

I am still on the planet. Always loved him, but what can you do ...

I ran into a few old old friends this evening at a concert. Lovely surprise. My old chem friend from uni, whom I have known since the 70s.

Also ended up parking in a street I lived back then. It was me looking looking for a park outisde the permit zone area ... so some things are meant to be ...
