Something’s not right

Can't get up

Can't get up

Hello,

I am house-sitting at my neighbour's house, and for some reason, I have nose-dived into a really dark place. The house itself is colder and darker than mine, but for some reason, I can't get motivated to do anything at all.

A walk to a park or to get a coffee feels like a Herculean effort. But I know I need to do it, or I will just spend the whole day doing nothing.

It seems so strange. I am in the same building, just downstairs, but this change in environment has left me feeling so utterly bleak.

I just need the tiniest push to do something that feels good. But I can't!!

Hope you are having a better week!

Cheers,

Sol

Re: Can't get up

It is amazing how sometimes it is just simple and small things that can lift us out of a total funk!

I just got offered a small contract as a support worker, providing some company on a walk for someone a couple of afternoons a week.

It has lifted my mood to the extent that I feel like I wanna get out of the house and go for a walk!

It feels like such a simple equation to me right now. I need social interaction and to get out of the house during the working week. And being a support worker may just be the opportunity I have been looking for. 🙂

Yay!
