New Thread - Hams 2.0

Realising how free I have made myself is strange. I've surpassed a fair bit.

Here I am typing away on my phone. In a space I'm paying for. I feel like adult. Weird really.

But I guess the proximity to where I went to uni and the area surrounding it is also helpful. Makes me feel at home. I know this whole area well. It holds a place for me because it's something I associate with uni.it was such a pivotal time for me. Good to be back in this area. I mean all that your and optimism was stamped out of me and I became quite despondent. But through my own application and by listening to myself - I was able to find a path to a place and become someone I never thought I would be.

THAT is the best part. I listend to myself at the age of 17 or 18 and here I am a bit over 10 years later. I've landed here. And no one can take that away either.

Evening all

Just sitting in my chair I got off fb marketplace e for free. 2 of them. One man's trash etc..

Just cooked up a mini dinner and then showered. Called partner and we are going to an orchestra performance on Friday night.

Its getting colder now. I like it.

I'm battling ego and desire every day now. I used to just be serving it. Nowadays I'm doing my past to surpass it. Hard ofc.

Going to a writers festival on Thurs with an old friend.

Guess I'm living my life again hey.

Weird but cool

Gonna place my fratl for the giro di Italia on twitter then head off. Via my free chair and read ofc.

Hey @Owlunar I do hope you're on the mend. All of that sounds very intense to go through.

I'm going alright thanks. Learning to silence ny inner critic. It's quite hard to do when it has been the pushing force for a long time. Learning to accept myself now that I made good changes. Off to work now. Just did my morning walk around the area. Had a nice quick brekky and then will get my coffee before I go in. Rituals are important hey?

Looks like I'll be catching up with someone from Warsaw who did that course back in 2018.

Maybe I'll get some closure to that part of my life.

Seems like everything is coming around these days. For better or worse.
