Hi! I'm new to SANE.
I see my psychiatrist tomorrow. I'm a well functioning bipolar person. I have recently suffered from mixed states meaning my mood stabilizer went up for a month. Here's hoping I sleep well tonight!
What I need to ask him is can I reduce the mood stabilizer.
I plan to ride my bicycle there!

There's definitely no harm in sharing your concerns with your psychiatrist tomorrow about the meds you are taking. All the best with it!

Hi @chordsinger @I hope your first visit went well. I changed psychiatrists a few years back and it was a huge upheaval for me. My new doctor is really nice and supportive which has been a relief.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't sleep to well last night. Do you think it might be due to the increase in medication? I know that sometimes it's hard to kept positive - particularly when things are hard but please know the Forums and our lovely members are here for you anytime.
