Hope you are well! Just checking in as I've been off for a bit. Went on a nice little road trip to Melbourne with my daughter but both of us ended up with covid! Recovering now but it really wiped me out.

So my daughter and I are huge Drag Queen fans. We religiously watch Drag Race. Anyway we went and saw a show of three of the most famous queens. It was really awesome. BUT what was even more exciting was that I went to the gym in the hotel the next morning and was all alone until one of the drag queens walked in for a workout. I was GAGGED! It took me about 20 minutes to work up the courage to go and say hi. He was so nice. Had a little chat and I told him how amazing the show was. My daughter was back in the hotel room asleep still and I literally ran back and woke her up to tell her lol. She asked me if I got a selfie but I didn't. I was too overwhelmed haha.

So that was my excitement for the day. I was on a high. Then we went and had lunch with my older daughter who lives in Melbourne. It wasn't until the drive home we both started feeling unwell and it hit us we might have covid!

Yesterday I went to Red Dot to find a galvanised tub like my other one to plant into. I couldn’t find one but I did get a big 85Litre pot. I also got a few smaller pots to put in my second greenhouse and I got 2 packets of seeds (parsnips and brocoletti).
Then I went to Bunnings and got 4 bags of soil. I am looking forward to doing more planting but I am going to wait till after the rain Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tomorrow I was meant to go to a craft fair but it got canceled so my support worker is going to take us for a drive somewhere else. It’s a wine growing region with a whole lot of food shops along the main road. Looking forward to that but I hope I don’t get wet as it’s going to rain.

I love drag Queens too. At the moment I am a big Trixie Mattel fan but I also really love Thorgy. I haven’t seen drag race since my son moved out a few years ago because I used to watch it with him. I really should start watching that again…

Friend wanting $ to repair trailer so they can lend it to me. says will pay me back. not holding my breath.

took an hour to put money in their account, they had blocked things without telling me etc, not much use at all. should have taken 5mins max ha ha lol

@Oaktree OMG haha we LOVE Trixie too! How funny. I love when I meeting other Drag fans. The queen I met in the gym was Monet XChange.

So excited right now! Hubby just heard from the hospital with a date for his knee surgery and it’s in less than 6 weeks time. So great! I can’t wait till after recovery so we can start walking together.

Hey @Oaktree @hanami ive never watched those shows but know some of the drag queens from being mentioned on other shws i like. I ❤️the real housewives, could watch them all day and talk about their homes and their husbands and their dramas
