Piecing the shattered glass together

Piecing the shattered glass together

I decided to start a new thread, my new chapter in my life is going to focus on healing my traumas, building resilience and self-worth and taking the steps of achieving mood stability. I am praying this year will be better than the last. Last year the SI got really intense, was so close to losing hope and I felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. It all still feels overwhelming, I have a long way to go on my healing journey, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

gosh... if you think there is a possibility you are having a reaction to anything you might have taken, you can call Healthline Direct. They have registered nurses there that could advise you accordingly... @creative_writer

@Kyle1, I haven't taken anything unusual, I don't what's wrong with me 😞

Sounds awful... @creative_writer

I'd really like to encourage you to try something active, though, b4 resorting to SI... there's nothing to lose in trying.

Sometimes, it can feel like an implosion (for me, anyways) And to spin that around and direct the energy outwardly in a way that is "healthy" (like going for a run) is as easy as reversing the spin of the universe! Which is to say; impossible.

I have found that not thinking, just doing, can be helpful ... to just "get on the bike" (metaphorically speaking) and go, without a second thought as to why, or how...?

@Kyle1, I am okay now, very tired, sleepy and just low. The agitation settled, it probably just took three days for the meds to kick in, and sleepiness is probably just the side effect, antipsychotics can be pretty heavy. I know I should be "glade" that it didn't last for a week +. It was so confusing and I didn't understand what was going on, but it's over now, still feel like shit, but prefer this depression over the depression + lots of energy (like I had 50 cups of coffee). My head does feel heavy though 😞

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together

@hanami, have my pdoc appointment on Wednesday which I am anxious about. It’s hard opening up to new supports, taking it slowly

Hi @Shaz51, I feel pretty exhausted but doing better than I have in days right now. Had a pretty rough start but it turned around. How are you doing? xx

@Kyle1, I think I’ll need to sleep early. The agitation sort of left a hangover, but doing better mentally. I hope you are doing okay tonight
