Piecing the shattered glass together

Piecing the shattered glass together

I decided to start a new thread, my new chapter in my life is going to focus on healing my traumas, building resilience and self-worth and taking the steps of achieving mood stability. I am praying this year will be better than the last. Last year the SI got really intense, was so close to losing hope and I felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. It all still feels overwhelming, I have a long way to go on my healing journey, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

@creative_writer You ALWAYS misspell that word! But don't change now, please: I like it. 🤗

@Kyle1, haha, I’m glade you like it 🫂. Did you get up to much today?

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together

@creative_writer nah, not much today...

It's weird: I get these days when there's too many people and it wracks my nerves. Then I get days like today - stranded.

Sounds like you had a productive one, @creative_writer You gotta be happy with that.

@Kyle1, I’m sorry, I’m here 🫂. It was a productive, I am spasming now though, I guess I need my magnesium but I can’t take it now. The supplement with magnesium also has vitamin b which keeps me awake if taken at night.

I'm wondering if you know of the magnesium blend for night time?? ... might have passionflower I think, or something like that... @creative_writer

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together

@Kyle1, I don’t. I just take a migraine supplement. It’s mostly vitamins and nutrients (including magnesium) with a bit of feverfew.

Oh, well...now you know!

@creative_writer there are a couple different options available. The 'ethical nutrients' one is usually quite accessible.

I'm wondering now about the stomach/brain connection... Was it you, @creative_writer who was telling me about suffering gerds??

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together

@Kyle1, there are certainly lots of options out there. I try to eat well, but yet felt like my body was struggling last year, so started those supplements. I was shedding more than usual last year randomly despite having a normal blood test result. Just praying for a safe return of the lost hairs. I get GERD sometimes.

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together

well, I can see why you might like the b vitamins added in. Especially if it's biotin, as that is supposed to promote hair growth @creative_writer

So does silica.

Did you know Tahini is a magnesium powerhouse? And the good thing about it is its a whole food, so it carries co nutrients (like calcium) in just the right ratio as nature intended...
