I decided to start a new thread, my new chapter in my life is going to focus on healing my traumas, building resilience and self-worth and taking the steps of achieving mood stability. I am praying this year will be better than the last. Last year the SI got really intense, was so close to losing hope and I felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. It all still feels overwhelming, I have a long way to go on my healing journey, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

@Bow, I slept alright, the congestion pain is starting to kick in again, I sure hope I don't end up on antibiotics. I think you shouldn't feel guilty for taking today easy, I hope you can get some sleep. Have you ever looked into sleep hygiene?

Hey @creative_writer Why are you feeling low? Has anything happened or just feeling that way?

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
@Paperdaisy, I don’t understand, I just feel low and I want to sleep. I’ve tried so hard to stabilise my mood and circadian rhythms, yet here I am here, feeling as though I’m getting closer to the chaos once again. I just hope there isn’t a repeat of last year.

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
Hey @creative_writer I don't know that we need to feel great all the time. Some days we do just want to sleep and hide away and I think that's OK. I've been nursing a chronic headache all day and there doesn't appear to be a reason for it. I know it will pass. Can you allow yourself some time to rest and let the low mood pass? Here for you 💝

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
@Paperdaisy I have a headache too, might be congestion, I don’t really know, I do have GP appointment on Wednesday, I keep getting sick 🤧. Not sure why I feel low, illness could be part of it, but I haven’t been depressed with each and every migraine. It’s just the first time I’ve had SI in a few days, but I guess rough days happen, I’m safe rn

@Paperdaisy, the human brain doesn’t always make sense, I guess I’ll let it be, at least I know how to feel a bit better, you just have to accept you can’t always control the storm, and the storm doesn’t always make sense either 💗

I feel like I need to have a good cry, but I can’t and I have forgotten how to release it all. The pain just wears you over time.
