I decided to start a new thread, my new chapter in my life is going to focus on healing my traumas, building resilience and self-worth and taking the steps of achieving mood stability. I am praying this year will be better than the last. Last year the SI got really intense, was so close to losing hope and I felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. It all still feels overwhelming, I have a long way to go on my healing journey, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

@Kyle1, I hope you enjoy going to the cafe, a change in scenery can be helpful.
I don’t celebrate Easter or Good Friday , it’s just any other day.

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
What helplines do people usually find helpful during the weekend and public holidays? I find Lifeline and SCBS to be a hit or miss. Feeling pretty miserable right now.

Hey @creative_writer i prefer scbs over lifeline. I at least feel like I am talking to a person to scbs, unlike lifeline. Hope you are ok

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
@Bow, I tried contacting SCBS, they were okay, not the same as SANE drop in. I hope you are doing well 💖
@Kyle1, I am here with you and you don’t need to go through this rough patch alone, it’s hard and it hurts, but you are amazing and strong 💖🫂. Is it grey and dark where you are at too? I feel sleepier than usual, or maybe I’m whining too much about the weather. Ever since I was a child, I would feel a sense of sadness and fatigue when it got dark.

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
Yes, I have always felt that way too. It may be a pineal gland thing? Or seasonal affective disorder? Don't know...
It is grey and rainy here today. Cold. Desolate. @creative_writer

@Kyle1, I can experience depression all year around, I just hope I don’t get consumed by darkness this year. It got worse last year in winter, I got referred to HOPE (Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement) because of suicidal planning.
Maybe Tom will be a better day for us. Though I think the gloomy weather continues in Melbourne. Do you have much planned for tom?

Hi @tyme, I hope you are doing well 💖. Not doing so great, in hibernation today, bed is my best friend.
@Kyle1, getting out even if it’s for the pharmacy is good. I feel like I ought to get out of the house, not sure if I’ll be bothered though. I think I should push myself into the shower at least, couldn’t be bothered today, sort of over it. I took the lazy route to smelling nice by spraying perfume.
