This one has been a long time coming! I hope it connects with some of you

Stillness

There is a stillness here
Contemplating the heartbeat
Of god

A subatomic metronome
Marking time eternally
A footprint in our consciousness
Evidence of the possible

Safe in nature's cathedral
Whispers subdue the shouts
Emanating from the chaos
Of our unforgiving paradise

The watermark on each soul
Security against deception
Miracle or accident?
Intention over chance?

Off the beaten track I go
My mind guided by confusion
Coherence a mere memory
Faded and with edges curled


There is a frenzy here
Blissfully ignoring
The end

Sounds like a response of a true poet to me....

Love it...

Raw....brutally honest...very real.....promising hope ...subtle gentle self belief...

You are a poet and or a song writer...
