Not Coping

Lol.. slept in the morning. I had yet another sleepover with my niece and of course I didn't sleep. So in the morning, I went back to my bed to sleep. @Birdofparadise8 .

I don't know why I do it to myself, but then again, they are only young once.

Hey @creative_writer , just catching up with everything.

I've got my niece nephew next to me peeling apples to make stewed apples. Then my nephew cut himself so he was crying. I don't think it really hurt. He was more afraid of the bl****d.

Peeling apples is good for their concentration lol. When I peel things, I don't normally let them help, but today, I just let them.

Im not really fussed though. I warn them of safety, and if they do hurt themselves, they will learn. I'm sitting next to them anyway so it's not that the will be hurt severely.

I think in life, people cotton-ball their kids too much so that they end up not being able to do anything practical.

I’m sure she enjoyed herself though.

I could never have children of my own

So I did private child care

And I became a step mum of 4 😁

If I was to have kids I wouldn’t want to be taking all the meds I am, I would have to be really stable

Yeah, I do do a lot with the kids @creative_writer @Birdofparadise8 @Shaz51 .

We don't have parents, in laws or relos to help, so I feel I owe it to my sister. It's not easy with 3 young ones. Husband is so lovely, but very limited with what he is able to do.
