Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Not Coping

I just Googled the med interaction with another med I take, and it said major effect, so I emailed them back.

That's okay I hope your chow mein was yummy.

It was very yummy thank you. @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 wow, that is amazing that your pdoc didn't pick up on that. I'm lucky, my GP dispenses all my meds and he has special alerts that come up if he tries to do a script for me that I can't take. I also have learned to ask for as much information as possible and he will either tell me or give me pamphlets. It could be that your pdoc forgot about possible interactions too. Good on you for checking my clever princess.

My anti-psychotic makes me sleepy but the downside is if I don't take it I'm wide awake all night. And if I take a certain prescription pain med it can interact with the anti-psychotic too, making it not work.

We have to be so careful when we're stuck with mental meds!

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, well, he wrote it on a script pad so he wouldn't get electronic notifications, but you would think the chemist would know.

Thanks @ENKELI you are so sweet.

Yeah, my current antipsychotic is for sleep, and this new one is for depression, but they interact with each other.

Re: Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 yes the chemist who dispenses your meds should probably have known.

I'm feeling rather sheepish, I thought Glisten was male....I'm so embarrassed 😳

What do you have on tomorrow?

In response to: Re: Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, they should have @ENKELI

Oh, really. I did wonder, too, but I thought Glisten was female. By the way, don't be ashamed; I get people's genders around here wrong all the time.

I am very sleepy as well @ArraDreaming

Re: Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 fortunately this is a safe place and Glisten thought it was funny.

Is the new med extended release? If so it will take 12 - 24 hours probably to leave your system.

@ArraDreaming hope you're okay and manage to get a good night's sleep.
