Not Coping

Yeah, we were able to get a drink before we walked around the club. Then, we sat down and had a solid discussion for about an hour and a bit, and then they said we could go get some merch.

That was so good because I was going to buy a beanie, so it was nice not to pay for it.

There were eight of us, 7 female, one who was 50 ish. The others all around my age an a male in his late teens i think. I think I gave some valuable insight as a first-year member. They are doing a focus group of a lot of different groups. Seeing some of the players was also cool, but we didn't get a photo. Oh well. @tyme

I'm sure my post below would explain why I am not.

My so called friend told me he doesn't want to be friends. He has been leading me on for nearly two weeks while I'm trying to come up with a way forward while he knew the whole time where he was at. Also, I'm still upset with what happened with my psych yesterday.

But yes, the beanie is good. I enjoyed the focus group. @ArraDreaming

I wish he would have just come out and said he didn't want to be friends in the first place. I've spent a lot of time and energy trying to figure out how I could be friends with him with the very ridge boundary he put in place. AKA he only wants to go out when other people are around, such as going on a bar crawl, which I don't want to do as I don't like drinking.

I drafted quite thoughtful text messages to tell him how I felt and how upset I'd been, but that was all for nothing. I don't know why people are like this. I really liked him. Lol, I had a crush on him last year, but I found out he was dating a guy, so the feelings went away. Anyway, yay, I have only the group of girls I met at the brunch, and we see each other once every couple of months.

I am doing another brunch in July, so hopefully, I'll meet some more people then.
