Here’s it: Non invasive ventilator the one that costs $10,000 for the minimal operational setup I need.

Heres the one I can’t afford but works a lot better with less breakdowns: Specialised vent for hospital to home these ones start over $25,000 up to $38,000 depending on complexity, each.

I use a custom made mask most of the time, because the vents run a high IPAP (inspiratory pressure) then drop dramatically for exhaling.
that means it comes off your face if it’s a regular mask, most of the time 🌺🙂

Yeah, it’s super cool. I know some specialised plastics manufacturers in Sydney, so I asked them if they could help out. They already have molds for another mask they make for a very popular sleep equipment supplier, which allow baseplate/blank injection mounts to be used across different designs. They also have a specialised cnc lathe for the cushion, which was designed on their cad program.
I’m very lucky to have worked in the industry to have some connections here and there 🙂🌺

my lungs and the muscles and nerves involved with breathing have been damaged, so unfortunately this is not something a person recovers from 💜

unfortunately I can’t swim anymore… I used to swim like a fish, but now, the water pressure on the outside of my body means I cannot breathe - it ‘squeezes’ my chest and I can’t take a breath.
however I used to love it 🦩🥰
