Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Not Coping

The stage looks amazing @Birdofparadise8 🥰🌺

I love the orchestra pit down the front! I imagine all the musicians need to wear earplugs ☺️

Oh, that’s cute there were pink flamingos! 🦩🙌🏻😀😉

hey I’m really sorry to see and hear your flatmates aren’t tidying up and used your items and then washed them with hand soap instead of dish washing liquid 😔

it’s really frustrating❤️‍🩹

If this is a shared uni accommodation, there are rules they need to adhere to… 💜🌺

Re: Not Coping

Yes, shared accommodation @Former-Member

I bet they do. It would be loud.

Re: Not Coping

Hey there @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺

I had a look, and found that this review (from their reference list)

has 2 parts: one is data (systematic review) but the other is qualitative review - this article will have some qualitative background research articles upon which it based it’s claims..I was thinking that if you have a look at their reference list, you might find the qualitative articles they base their review on https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10488-021-01170-2?utm_source=getftr&utm_medium=getftr&utm_campaign=getftr_pilot

Yes that does make sense regarding the review tool links guiding the type of research you can review.
I hope this is helpful?
otherwise, please feel free to share your pico and I’ll have a think about how to refine stuff. If you want to share the assessment main question too, feel free (totally up to you though 🙂🌺).
I’ll try to help with searching for the more accurate and hopefully up to date quals that you need ☺️

Re: Not Coping

Here’s a fairly decent article on subsyndromal depression with the parameters defined:

Subsyndromal depression

I hope that’s helpful? 💜🙂🌺

Re: Not Coping

That’s an early start @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺

Is it quiet while the flatties are asleep? 🙂

it finished around 1:10am, then I had some reading to do, and then wind down a bit.. I got to bed at around 2:30am I think it was 🙂🌺

Re: Not Coping

  1. "How do interventions that improve emotional intelligence address anxiety and depression?" (ProPheT research question framework: Problem - anxiety and depression; Phenomenon-of-interest: interventions that improve EI)
  2. Adolescent depression, self-compassion, emotional intelligence.

I found this article https://doi.org/10.1002/jad.12277

I'm doing a systematic review, so I can't use them.

I can only use the following studies: RCT, Qualitatavite study, and cohort study.

This was the closest article I could get that was an RCT on adolescents about how self-compassion is used to help decrease depression, thus improving EI. The article doesn't directly state that, but that's okay.

What are your thoughts?
