Not Coping

Her husband finally agreed to a nursing home 2 years ago @amber22. He is 92 this year and was her carer until then. With a bit of help from my mum and me. In the beginning I would be the only one to pull her out of an episode. I’m her favourite grand child. It’s a horrible disease.

Im an awesome mum. I just tell her to get over it. 😂 Mind you I keep the house cooler than I like for her and give her ice cubes. I also have a small dog pool in the backyard for her!

That was a good decision, I find that when people are that old it is better for them to be in nursing homes for their own safety, and also for the peace of mind for their families to know that they are safe.

Thank you for that @Captain24 yeah the rehab hospital didn’t have the right services or care she needed. Yes it has helped I’m not as worried as I was when I could out.

I'm doing alright today, feeling a bit tired but getting through it with baby steps
