@Birdofparadise8 I don't know. Bullying and verbal abuse can be so subjective. I've been bullied and abused so much and haven't had any recourse to do anything about it so I've just absorbed it and my MH suffers.
This is my opinion only based on what I have read - I don't think that the response you received was very helpful, it was bordering on harsh which is not what I would expect of a mental health hotline/forum service. Unless you have received several other warnings that were very gentle and advised that the responses would get harsher should you "break the rules" I would certainly be in a tailspin over it.
I AM going to refer back to my ex friend again and I am sorry but it is the best comparison I can make.
Her last message to me said that I refused to eat with her and her kids because I thought I was better than them. I never once gave that impression to her OR the kids but that's what she said.
She also said that it took her 2 days to clean my room.
Point 1 - I never ate with her and the kids because they ate dead on 6pm and I am used to eating later. Because she was serving up at 6 she took it upon herself to bring my dinner in to me instead of asking me if I wanted to eat with them or later. But she was very rude and said what she said. I don't know why she said that except to make me feel bad about myself.
Point 2. I TOLD her I would clean my room and did as much as I could but I had to work so only had the weekend I moved out. I had to find room for my stuff in my home and unpack so she said she would clean my room as she had the week off from work. To turn around and say it took her 2 days was BS because the room was spotless when I left it. All she had to do was mop the floor and do a light dust.
Should I react and tell her that what she has done is like being physically abused?
It's so subjective that RO may turn around and make your life more difficult and extend the ban if you DO "over react" as they will put it. People are mean, they don't care about your feelings, they only care about their own.
As I said, this is only my opinion and my thoughts. I personally would do nothing and wait for the ban to be over then get on with it but be careful what you say.
Venting helps but at some stage you have to move on. I am saying that more for my own benefit than yours.
Every day for me is like a minefield of memories, I heard a song my Godson loves as I was driving to the dr and it brought tears to my eyes. I had to change the CD and play something else. Even thinking about it makes me cry.
Day by day, 3 steps forward 2 steps back hon, it's all we can do xx
