Hearing you @creative_writer . I was just posting in another thread the idea of reframing situations for our own benefit and not the other persons. I'll copy and paste it here:
"As for anger and hatred etc, I had to come to the realisation that the anger I had within me didn't make an ounce of difference to those that caused the hate. In the end, I learnt I had to reframe my thinking so that I wouldn't dwell on the hurt, anger and rage.
This does not mean I do not get angry though. It's more that I don't dwell and let the anger fester.
In the past, I had people make allegations against me. Although these allegations were no where true, people who knew about it said that the person was a liar etc. However, more me, I did not want to frame it that they were a 'liar'. Instead, I accepted it as 'they misunderstood'. Why? because it would mean I wouldn't have to look at that person as a liar and hate them. If I see them that they misunderstood, it helps me forgive them and not hold it against them. Therefore, that anger leaves me.
So sometimes, re-framing thoughts and ideas does help. Not because you condone the action/s, but because you want it off your own chest."
Yes, tonight I feel down, but I do believe a good night's sleep will help.
I've just had my dinner. It was delicious! Hope yours is as yum as mine. I love eating noodles.
