Something’s not right

Struggling: TW suicide

Struggling: TW suicide

I have been struggling a lot lately with suicidal thoughts. It’s become a daily occurrence and it’s been really overwhelming to cope. I am safe right but having to fight this is very exhausting. I feel so trapped, I am tired of living in pain, fear and shame. I feel like a burden to people and unimportant.

@tyme probably best to take night meds soon, before I change my mind and become even more further into this. Probably have fruit of something first. I think you mentioned you love mangoes. We got more mangoes today, need to see if it’s possible to find a ripe one among them, my dads one was sour since it was under ripe.

Hehehe @creative_writer . Yes, I do love mangoes! I hope you find a nice plump ripe one 🙂

I'm going to have some blueberries.

Fruit is so delicious 🙂

Have a good one and I hope to catch up with you over the weekend sometime.

@tyme I had blueberries earlier today 🙂 . Had a mango just a while back, found one that was nice. I got distracted afterwards, me and my sister ate mangoes together and spoke. I hope you have a lovely and restful night and weekend 🙂 . Will speak to you soon

I don’t know what to say. At least my manic symptoms settled down, so I should be grateful for not being in a mixed mood right now, I suppose. I got the manic side under control from meds, sleep, and evening blue light glasses. But why do I feel like I am sinking? What is wrong with me?

I'm not sure if anything is 'wrong' @creative_writer . Maybe this is what our brains are meant to do?

You have been doing very well @creative_writer . You've come leaps and bounds.

@tyme the reality is depression is very hard to control for. Manic symptoms are easier, though I had to learn last year. I had really awful mixed episodes (my brain doesn’t seem to get pure ones anymore oddly enough) last year, and it’s been so much easier to control them from becoming an episode at onset if I minimise evening blue light exposure through glasses. Like I had no idea these glasses would help them so much, it’s weird. But depression still persists. But I felt like depression sort of left for two days too. It happened naturally. I don’t know why my brain decided to be depressed again.

It's good to hear the glasses have made a difference @creative_writer .

As for the depression... it does like to linger sometimes. Take it slowly. Practice some deep breathing, and remember, you are NOT your thoughts.

@tyme I still think my circadian rhythms needs help, even if I am able to sleep enough with meds plus glasses, I still feel so unrested. I still feel like going back to sleep after waking up. I swear, I feel like my mood and circadian rhythms are linked. I guess depression is linked to wanting to sleep more. I do try to not let myself sleep in too much, more sleep is probably not going to help.
