I got an email today (Thursday 30th June 2022) saying that the Defence Force Ombudsman had received my submission. I got it in on the last day, talk about cutting it fine! I had sent an email in case they got it late but looks like it’s fine. They say 2-3 weeks for pre-assessment. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good result.

Got reply other week @Oaktree said not serious enough. Was a time frame to add more less serious incidents (which there were)

well at least it worked for someone.just brought up a lot of bad memories for me, also people from old sub unit found me for a reunion . I ended up doing a crash and burn on their fb site, so guess washed my hands of it. at least some sort of closure. @Oaktree
