I got an email today (Thursday 30th June 2022) saying that the Defence Force Ombudsman had received my submission. I got it in on the last day, talk about cutting it fine! I had sent an email in case they got it late but looks like it’s fine. They say 2-3 weeks for pre-assessment. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good result.

Got an email today. Obviously made it through pre-assessment. Now it will be another 12-18 months before I hear anything else about this. Feels like a long arse time!

they might have dug my records out as had medical file 2 inches thick lol plus I named names before I saw different version of guidelines. Who knows....

Just got an email saying they completed my assessment. They are recommending the lower reparation payment. I accepted so they will forward their recommendation to Defense. Don’t know how much longer it will take.
