I can’t cope

I'm glad you can say that you are safe today @Captain24 I know how hard it is sometimes to believe that about ourselves. I'm glad your team is so supportive. We all need that.

I was brought up watching the afl and going to games. But I do live in VIC to it is a big deal here.

I have no idea about the NRL however!!

I’m so sorry this has happened for you @magpie4. It’s hard to do things that remind us of different times.

I get the mask situation. I do it all the time at work and when I go anywhere. It’s just exhausting. Is there another venue that you could go to that you won’t know anyone, just to get out.

Or what about watching a movie or TV series. I sometimes find that helps. Especially if it’s good and I get really into it. Lately I’ve been getting into Australian movies and series.

What type of dancing did you do? I use to dance but my dance teacher ruined the passion for me. The funny thing is, is that we are best friends and still best friends. We just weren’t compatible with dancing in the end. Plus she closed the studio and moved to Melbourne which is about 14hrs away. Our friendship has never been stronger

Thanks @Snowie. I’m working really hard at it as I can’t let them down again. It helps that I feel compelled to be there for others and to try and not fail them. It is at the detriment of myself a lot though.

I hear AFL is massive in vic. VIC always seem to get behind there sports. NSW isn’t the same. We are all raised on rugby league though. It’s funny how we are one country and so massively different. But the country does love its sports.

The sports I watch the most is swimming in all the games. I love it. But I use to be a swimmer back in the day.

So true @Captain24 . Growing up in NSW, we never even discussed the footy... but over here in Vic, it's huge! If you don't have a team, you're lost. lol

I do have an NRL team. I go for the tigers. But a lot of people up here don’t. Sport is just not as big.. ay

How is your house moving going? Did you write the list instead of keeping it in your head? Lol

I have removed 13 plants from my garden! I’ll have to take them all to the tip tomorrow. Then I need to dig up all the garden beds and plant new plants. It’s going to be a long process I think.

It has kept me really busy and distracted today. It’s just what I needed. Plus a bonus I got to spend all day in the sun. Now I’m tired, sore and really itchy. That is also a really good thing for me at the moment. Except for the itchy. Now I remember why I don’t garden. I’m allergic to it!

It hasn’t gotten hot yet @tyme it’s only 29 degrees.

I am filthy and so sore so the pain is good. But the hard work will pay off in the end. I’ve taken a before picture and will take an after picture when it’s finished. I’ll post them for you. I may get it done this break which will be good.
