Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

That’s rough @tyme. I’m sure sometimes you would like your own space.

It’s hard being the eldest but at least I only had one. It’s always expected for you to be the more obliging one. The youngest can get away with things because they ‘don’t know better’

You're so right. We always say, "Leave her (the youngest) alone. She's a baby". Yet when the eldest was her age, she was already reading lol @Captain24

You know what? I know it may not feel like it, but I'm really proud of you.

It’s always stays the same @tyme. I use to say ‘when I was his age’ but was told it’s different now. Even though we are both in our 40’s he still gets away with so much but if it was me they’d be disappointed.

Yeah I really don’t see it and not sure what you see to think that but thank you.

Re: I can’t cope

I guess it's a fact we cannot change. I'm the middle child and I've had my fair share of 'middle child syndrome' (and treatment) @Captain24 .

Anything planned for tomorrow?

Re: I can’t cope

I think middle would be the worst @tyme.

At this stage I have nothing planned. My CM has emailed for my availability so she may fit me in tomorrow. It will be good to reconnect.

I may attempt to mow my lawn.

There is a major event on in town this weekend so I will prefer not to leave my house. It’ll be hard to get into town with the traffic anyway.

Do you have any plans other than driving home?

Im heading over to the chat.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 Sounds exciting with the events on but I can see why you'd want to stay home.

It won't take long to get home. Only about 2 hours or so. It'll be a lovely drive without the kids lol. Me, myself and I time.

Nah @tyme. It’s a massive wine event and there will be probably be about 15000 people at it. There is no accommodation available in town.

2 hrs of just @tyme time sounds so good! I hope you enjoy the peace and quiet. I was going to say you can have the music blaring but you don’t like noise.

The chat was really good! I actually took positives out of it! Who’d have thought. 😂

Re: I can’t cope

I will certainly enjoy the drive home @Captain24 . Ppppppeeeeaaaacccceeee and quiet.

I can hear the youngest singing "Sunday, monday, tuesday, yesterday..."

Re: I can’t cope

OMG @tyme that’s so cute! Shouldn’t they be asleep by now?

What time do you leave in the morning? Is it early?

When I go away I leave first thing in the morning to get there and delay coming home until late! Except when I’m with my parents. I have to do what they say

Re: I can’t cope

The two older ones are asleep, but not the baby of the family @Captain24 .

She's still talking. The little one has BIG ATTITUDE.

Yesterday, she was walking around the campsite singing Advance Australia Fair.... she's got such a LOUD voice... and all her words are mixed up but she's got the tune. Thank God people don't understand her. She told a little boy tonight, "I want you to turn off your ipad". Thank God that family didn't understand her. We have to cover her mouth to stop her saying embarrassing things.

We also have shared amenities here so it's a large toilet with cubicles... I took her to the toilet. Then she says out loud, "Who's doing wees???" I had to put my hand over her mouth fast....
