Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

Pixie is really good in the bath it’s just getting her in it @amber22. She gets bored when blow drying her, she starts out ok but starts to play up after a while.

Having a clean house is nice. I changed the sheets and doona cover too. Plus all the ironing. I have done a lot and it has worn me out. Which is not helpful. It doesn’t help that it flared up my chest pain.

I just want to leave this life. I really just wish it would end. I’m tired of feeling this way. I don’t see any point of going on. I have nothing that I enjoy other than Pix. I’m not even enjoying walking her.

I have an appointment with my CM tomorrow but my dietitian is going to pop in. All they want to talk about is my lack of eating. I’m sick of hearing about starvation brain. I’m sick of being told to eat. My weight has dropped dramatically which I’m happy about but they aren’t.

I hope you enjoyed your time away. Did you go anywhere?

Aww Pix is so cute, I can imagine her getting blow dried! @Captain24

Oh having a nice clean house is the best feeling - especially new clean sheets. But I can imagine that it was very tiring. Hopefully you can use the rest of the afternoon to just relax now.

I'm so sorry that you're finding it really challenging at the moment. Do you have someone you can chat to about this? I know you mentioned you're seeing your CM tomorrow (and your dietician) but is there someone you could contact now that could be able to help? Or maybe even calling up SANE for a chat?

Re: I can’t cope

I’m not really one for calling @amber22. I get scared and really anxious.

Have you been up to anything exciting?

Re: I can’t cope

I totally get that, calling can be very anxiety provoking. Is there someone you know that you could chat to about how you're feeling? @Captain24

I haven't been up too much, just relaxing! What about you?

Re: I can’t cope

I don’t want to worry anyone @amber22. If I was fully honest I would end up in some trouble.

I haven’t done much really. But I did nearly roll a truck at work. The truck is 5 metres high and my front passenger side tyre was 3 metres off the ground. My back passenger tyres lifted as well! The load was all in one side so as I took it to the dump, every corner I turned my tyre came off the ground slightly. That was a bit scary. I was shaking by the time I tipped it off!

I’ve booked a holiday for the beginning of November to the coast for a week. That gives me something to look forward to. Except that mum and dad are coming. The only thing is that we think my dads cancer treatment will start at the same time.

Oh wow!! That sounds intense and really scary about the truck - are you okay?? @Captain24

Oh that sounds lovely that you booked some time away in November. I hope that you're able to enjoy yourself with some time off. Will you take Pix with you?

Re: I can’t cope

Yeah I’m ok @amber22. I was pretty shaken though for the next couple of days. Every time I was on a slight angle I panicked!

Yeah Pix will come too. She always comes on holidays. She absolutely loves going away even if it’s just a day trip. I think her favourite place is the beach! We went in May just her and I and even though it was a a little chilly she still went into the water!

Do you take your dog away.

Aww that's so cute Pix always comes along with you. I love that she goes in the water as well.

My dog has just turned 14 so she's an old girl that doesn't move around much, but she does love the water!

Re: I can’t cope

Ooh that’s a good age @amber22. My last dog was 10.

Do you live near the water? It’s 4 hrs for me to get to the coast. But it takes me longer as Pix gets carsick so I have to stop a few times.

Re: I can’t cope

Aww so cute.

We live about 30 minutes away from the water. Aw poor Pix getting car sick! I do too! @Captain24
